resampling syntax for caret package
Max and List,
Could you advise me if I am using the proper caret syntax to carry out
leave-one-out cross validation. In the example below, I use example
data from the rda package. I use caret to tune over a grid and select
an optimal value. I think I am then using the optimal selection for
prediction. So there are two rounds of resampling with the first one
taken care of by caret's train

special control 16
Hi
What is special control 16?
I am getting this error quite often --
special control 16, then for some reason it puts on hold and then logs is full of Asked to transmit frame type ulaw, while native formats is 0x8 (alaw) read/write = 0x8 (alaw)/0x8 (alaw)
Both peer and trunk have same codec priority (disallow=all then allow=alaw then alllow=ulaw)
Any ideas how to fix this ?

namespaces and noselect
Hello,
I am trying to use two namespaces to create an "archival" directory
that is stored as mboxes (the rest of my tree is all stored as
maildirs). However, when I add the second namespace, suddenly Dovecot
starts emitting, in response to the LIST command, a second version of
the INBOX that is marked as \NoSelect. Here are my namespac
definitions... am I doing this wrong?

Serious memory leak in asterisk (manager)
hi all
after getting some (or - a lot) of messages from nagios, claiming
asterisk
to be down, I found this out...
astping xxx times repeatedly, and the manager fails to start. this
little
script was used for testing. below, I've pasted the output from 'ps
axfv' before and after the DoS, showing asterisk having allocated ~2GB
RAM.

Hi Jose,
Why are all the bricks visible in volume info if the pre-validation
for add-brick failed? I suspect that the remove brick wasn't done
properly.
You can provide the cmd_history.log to verify this. Better to get the
other log messages.
Also I need to know what are the bricks that were actually removed,
the command used and its output.

Turn off replication
Hi,
Removing data to speed up from rebalance is not something that is recommended.
Rebalance can be stopped but if started again it will start from the beginning
(will have to check and skip the files already moved).
Rebalance will take a while, better to let it run. It doesn't have any
down side.
Unless you touch the backend the data on gluster volume will be
available for usage

2.0 migration weirdnesses: logs and hang
Hello,
I'm testing out an upgrade to dovecot 2.0 from 1.2.11, and I've
stumbled across two weirdnesses that I need help with.
First, I'm only getting one log message:
master: Info: Dovecot v2.0.0 starting up
After that, while I can connect, log in, read mail, etc., no further
log messages are created.
I have log_path set to /dev/stderr, and no syslog_facility setting,

Problems with t38modem and bitrate sent to t38-termination service
Hi all the people in the list!
I'm new on this list, this is my first post.
I configured asterisk 1.6 with freepbx 2.7 and dahdi to send faxes with
t38modem conected to hylafax as a sip extension of asterisk.
Everything is supposed to be configured fine, the faxes start sending, but
at the middle of the transaction, it fails. The T.38 termination provider
told me that they were receiving

Benchmarking CVS HEAD vs. v1.0
Some new features in CVS HEAD are:
- v1.0 saves most of the data to dovecot.index.cache only when the
client is FETCHing the messages. With mboxes the message headers are
saved while parsing the mbox, which is almost the same thing.
With CVS HEAD the dovecot.index.cache file is updated already when the
new messages are being saved (with deliver or IMAP APPEND). This avoids
reading the message
