I just want to set up a folder on my Linux 7.2 running samba 2.2.1a-4. I have looked at the smb.conf over and over. Cannot find out why my share is not showing up. hi all, assume apache runs under apache user/group and i have a user/group name "weber". i use "weber" user to upload files via ftp/sftp. where should i place my include files so that no one can access except apache b/c these files contained user/pw for mysql. i usually place them in /var/www/html/includes, but people can access to this folder, so i'm thinking place

hi all, how do i mount usb laptop hard drive to a centos 4 box? this hard drive has 2 partitions: NT (winxp os) and fat32 for data. i'm unable to boot from it and i think NT partition is corrupted. i did try to connect to windows box, but i still can't get to fat32. any idea how to do this on centos box? i gave up on windows box. thanks, T.
