wierd ssl-parameters.dat regeneration error
I just had a strange problem with my Dovecot 1.0 installation. After about two weeks, it logged these messages: dovecot: Error: ssl-build-param: rename(/usr/local/var/lib/dovecot/ssl-parameters.dat.tmp, /usr/local/var/lib/dovecot/ssl-parameters.dat) failed: No such file or directory dovecot: Error: child 30689 (ssl-build-param) returned error 89 And thereafter, all

DTMF regeneration on PRI
Hello everyone, I'm having problems with DTMF regeneration on my incoming PRI. I see that when the calling party transmits a DTMF digit, it gets generated at my end at a slower rate. Normally this would not be a problem, but several of these calling party are alarm control panels that send DTMF digits at a pretty fast clip and require that the DTMF timing be left intact. I noticed that

"Invalid KEX record length" during SPTPS key regeneration and related issues
Hi, I'm currently trying to troubleshoot what appears to be a very subtle bug (most likely a race condition) in SPTPS that causes state to become corrupted during SPTPS key regeneration. The tinc version currently deployed to my production nodes is git 7ac5263, which is somewhat old (2014-09-06), but I think this is still relevant because the affected code paths haven't really changed

ssl-params regeneration with dovecot 2.2.7
Hello, after switching from version 2.2.7 to 2.2.7 I miss the loglines which say: ssl-params: Generating SSL parameters ssl-params: SSL parameters regeneration completed The configuration has not been changed and reads: | # 2.2.7: /usr/local/dovecot/etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf | # OS: Linux 2.6.35.14-106.fc14.i686.PAE i686 Fedora release 14 (Laughlin) ext3 | auth_mechanisms = plain login |

I sent you a pull request that addresses the general issue, at least for the short term: https://github.com/gsliepen/tinc/pull/83 On 16 May 2015 at 19:36, Guus Sliepen <guus at tinc-vpn.org> wrote: > On Sat, May 16, 2015 at 04:53:33PM +0100, Etienne Dechamps wrote: > >> I believe there is a design flaw in the way SPTPS key regeneration >> works, because upon reception of

Wins, browsing, browse.dat and wins.dat
Hi, I have troubles understanding wins and network browsing functionnality. I have a samba server(pdc) on a different subnet than my clients. The server smb.conf has wins support = Yes, the client are configured to use the wins server. In the wins.dat, i can see all the computers. In the browse.dat i have only computers/servers that are in the same subnet. When i try to browse the network

Static Entries wins.dat/browse.dat
I've recently setup an iSCSI portal on my network and have taken some servers offline. However, due to the requirements of certain software programs I need to use UNC paths. I was able to fix this issue by adding CNAME into my DNS. I'm still finding that certain programs still require to view the browse list to find the appropriate server. Since CNAME doesn't link to the

Browse.dat not syncing
I'm not sure where else to turn for this, I've seen this problem mentioned in a multiple places but haven't seen any resolution for it. Below is what's showing up in my remote samba WINS server. My setup is that I've got the samba servers connecting through a dedicated VPN. I've set up the WINS to allow for browsing across the VPN. If anyone can help me out or point me in

How to determine the origin of BROWSE.DAT Entries
I have a multi domain setup using samba. I run 3 domains across a VPN connection. One is always setup as the master WINS server. The master Server is still on 2.2.8a. All of the other domains are at V3.010. I stopped all of the servers this morning and deleted the Browse.dat file. (I had a mistake in one of my domains that was conflicting with the he master wins server) After I

LMB and browse.dat Updates
I realize this is most likely the most killed topic anyone on the net. Most of the information i've found don't directly answer this question. I have a Samba server set up as the DMB and LMB via smb.conf. I have set up nmbd to do WINS. I setup all my XP box clients to use my Samba server. I ran Ethereal on the server and can see the Samba server wins election for DMA and LMB. I can

Speeding up configuration log regeneration?
Hi, We run four-node Lustre 2.3, and I needed to both change hardware under MGS/MDS and reassign an OSS ip. Just the same, I added a brand new 10GE network to the system, which was the reason for MDS hardware change. I ran tunefs.lustre --writeconf as per chapter 14.4 in Lustre Manual, and everything mounts fine. Log regeneration apparently works, since it seems to do something, but

Constant regeneration of /etc/ssh/ssh_known_hosts
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I''ve created an ssh_keys class that just makes sure that all my Puppet managed hosts get the same set of hosts keys using the "sshkey" type. I also am starting to play with OSSEC HIDS which is a host based intrusion detection system. OSSEC HIDS has been letting me know that the MD5 and SHA1 hashes of /etc/ssh/ssh_known_hosts has
