Bug#441249: xen-hypervisor-3.0.3-1-i386-pae: "Problems using XEN when Quagga is running"
Package: xen-hypervisor-3.0.3-1-i386-pae Version: 3.0.3-0-2 Severity: normal If quagga is running, and I start & stop a domain, the VIF interface doesn't go down properly (in addition to other problems). Here's what I do: 1. Boot the computer. By default, quagga is running (zebra + ospfd). 2. xm create test7.cfg, wait until the domU starts. 3. xm shutdown test7, wait until the domU

"security = server" vs "security = domain" + samba auth problems
Hi all, So, in a long running battle with samba service provisioning, I've run up against an authentication problem. It was outlined in an email to the list a few days ago. After coming to the conclusion that it is not a kerberos issue (the kerberos MIT list helped me work through this), I can now be fairly assured me issues are related to my samba config. A global definitions list:

xyplot : superimposed 2 groups in different panels
Hello, I would like to plot the following xyplot : for each date of fff (1 date per panel), bbb=f(aaa) for the two groups (ddd=1 and ddd=2) superimposed. I can do it by group (see below) but not together. I looked at http://lmdvr.r-forge.r-project.org/figures/figures.html but I haven't found what I was looking for (to be honest, I haven't understood all the examples). Any help will be

openssh-2.1.1p3 - problem with -i option
Greetings: I've just attempted to upgrade from openssh-2.1.1p1 to openssh-2.1.1p3 and I'm having problems with the server component. My system runs RedHat Linux 6.2 (x86 version) with all currently released updates applied. The sshd daemon is being spawned by xinetd with the -i option and worked fine with the p1 level release. Now, when a remote client attempts to connect to the daemon,

SIP configuration issues
Apologies if this is a repeat: I trawled through the archives and couldn't find a reasonable answer, so I'm asking here. I have an Asterisk install connecting from behind a NAT device (DSL modem) to a SIP proxy (in my case, Broadvoice). I have an sjphone softphone on a Windows PC also behind the NAT device that connects to the Asterisk install, and using this setup I've been pretty

CentOS 5 + Quagga + SELinux
Hello All, Does anyone happen to be running Quagga on CentOS 5 with SELinux in enforcing mode? Have you had to create SELinux policies or did it "just work" out of the box? (I'll get around to building this out on CentOS 6 as well.) I'm simply trying to write my config (for the zebra daemon) and it can't be written... Looks like this bug from Fedora 8 in 2008 [0] remains

Multicast packages dropped
Hi, I have recently updated one of my systems from CentOs 6.4 to CentOS 6.5. This systems is used as a RIPv2 routing server with quagga which is the termination point of some GRE tunnels. While running CentOS 6.4 I see the multicast packages arriving at the eth0 and the GRE tunnel interface. While running under CentOs 6.5 I can see the multicast packages arriving at the eth0 but not on the GRE

imapsieve administrator scripts are not executed in the order they are defined
Dear dovecot developers, I have an issue with the Pigeonhole IMAPSieve Plugin and the order in which administrator scripts are executed. Although I cannot find anything about the order in which the scripts are executed, I would expect they are executed in the order they are defined: the one defined by imapsieve_mailbox1_* before the one defined by imapsieve_mailbox2_* in case both match. I

nmblookup receives response, but doesn't show it
Hi folks, I find that nmblookup seems to be receiving responses to name queries, but ignoring them. Here's what's happening: # nmblookup somehost querying somehost on x.y.255.255 name_query failed to find name somehost But watching the transaction with ethereal on the local host, I see that: 1. nmblookup on local udp port nnnn (some random number above 1024) sends an nbns

Asterisk with Sipbroker calling / routing problem
Hello all, I've been using * for quite some time and yesterday I decided to add sipbroker to my config. It was pretty simple and it works for some numbers (e.g. I can call *258-9123, UK date & time - which is on the "phone numbers you can call" page -) but fails for some others. For example I've got a friend who's at freephonie so to call him, I would dial

sshd accepted fingerprint logging
Currently, LogLevel must be set to VERBOSE to see the fingerprint of an accepted key, and the default LogLevel is INFO. Since this is useful security information, I would like to propose that the 'Accepted publickey' message be modified to include the fingerprint of the accepted key. Is this a reasonable solution? Here is an example log snippet with LogLevel VERBOSE: Oct 1 15:23:24

X11 forwarding and session multiplexing
Hi, A user has noticed that X11 forwarding does not appear to work when using session multiplexing. It seems that the DISPLAY environment variable is not getting set in the slave sessions. Any thought? The ~/.ssh/config ib below. Host somehost-master ControlMaster yes ControlPath ~/.ssh/somehost.sock HostbasedAuthentication no HostName somehost Host somehost-slave ControlPath
