documentation for configuring folder redirection
I believe that once you have roaming profiles configured, all you need to do
to configure folder redirection is set some registry keys. I'd like to turn
that job over to our Windows sys admin. Can someone provide me with their
favorite documentation for configuring folder redirection? Keep in mind I am
passing this link along to a Windows sys admin. Our backend is samba 3.6.3

Gracefully stopping EventMachine?
Hello all,
I''ve been learning Ruby and playing with a chat server I built using
GServer. After into an issue I found with GServer, that no one else seemed
to notice (actually, similar to this question, GServer is hard to kill
nicely, especially when you want to.), I found references to EventMachine,
and rebuilt my server using it. I much prefer EventMachine''s model.

AddPrinterConnection returns ERROR_INVALID_PARAMETER
I set up a Point-n-Print printer server with Samba3.0.28 and it works fine
from XP, but when I try to connect and install the printer driver from Vista
machines, it gives me 0x57 error, does anybody know why this is happening?
I later found out it's AddPrinterConnection call failing, but I don't know
how to go any further beyond that.
Thanks

[LLVMdev] Deleting Instructions after Intrinsic Creation
Hi,
I tried creating intrinsics which
are to be placeholders for a set of instructions which
should not be executed by the backend.
I want to retain only intrinsic, phi and terminator instructions in a basic
block.
I have taken care of the external dependencies of basic block.
How do I delete the rest of the instructions?
Thank You
Aditya

installing printer in a logon script
Hello,
I have Samba 3 PDC and win2k sp4 client.
I would like to install printer on a machine globally, for all users.
To do this, I use:
net use X: \\server\unattended /user:domain\unattended password
rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /q /y /ga /in /n \\server\HP2000C
First line is mounting share (Administrator is not logged to the
domain), and the second line is to install printer.

how to set folder redirection on Windows 7 with a Samba PDC
Hi,
I have read that Windows 7 is using a new admx format and that it is not
compatible with the old-school poledit. If I would like to stick with a
Samba PDC, is there any elegant way to get Windows 7 client to obey the
folder redirection(and possibly other rules) set using poledit &
NTConfig.pol?
I have been searching the mailing list, but there doesn't seems to be much

[PATCH 4/7] v2v: extract reusable parts of viostor regedits
There are registry entries that are needed to add some other drivers.
Extracting them into a function will help adding SUSE VMDP support.

Memcached Server - Memory Consumption
I was just testing the memcache server on a Windows box and had set it
up as a Windows Service and to my surprise (or my shock really) it was
using 47+ meg of ram with no data even loaded in it yet. Has anyone
else used the Windows port of memcached for their Rails projects and if
so how much ram was it using?
Does memcached use less memory on Mac OS X or Linux than Windows?
Thanks for any

Win11 22H2 and Point'n'Print status...
I'm still using Point'n'Print, but now i'm introducing some Win11 22H2
computer, having many trouble.
After the last security patchs, installing drivers was a nightmare, so i'm
currently using other mean (normally, WPKG) to deploy printer driver to PC,
and using Point'n'Print for printer management and configuration.
But in windows 11 printers does not install, and

[PATCH 6/7] v2v: quiet virtio net and balloon devices wizards
Setting the ConfigFlags to 0x40 for those will make windows quiet
at the first boot about those new devices. The wizard must not be
presented to the user since the needed drivers will automatically
be installed at firstboot... or worse, the wizard can even block
the installer.

[PATCH 7/7] v2v: add support for SUSE VMDP drivers
To add this support, the existing code searches for either the viostor
or the VMDP (Virtual Machine Driver Pack) files and updates the registry
accordingly.
Note that VMDP's block driver pvvxblk depends on the ballooning driver
pvvxbn.
