Does HEP require PJSIP or does it also works with SIP ?
Hello, On a newly built Asterisk 13.13.1 system, I can't make HEP work with chan_sip (though I could make it work with PJSIP on another instance). Looking either at [1] or hep.conf, I can't see anything meaning HEP requires PJSIP. Before diging deeper, may I simply ask if HEP requires PJSIP or not ? What about a line mentioning the answer in above documents (to keep other from wondering

write access to shares on PDC faulty (samba 2.2.6)
Hi, I just configured samba (2.2.6) on a Linux box (2.4.18) to act as a PDC. I can bring W2K PCs into the domain, and I can read the data on exported shares. However, when I try to write data, the following occurs: 1. trying to create directories (AKA folders :-) from the W2K GUI using "New Folder": Error Message Box "Unable to create the folder 'New Folder'. [cfe-dev] [RFC] Moving (parts of) the Cling REPL in Clang
I do not know enough about cling, but I like what you describe very much, am particularly intrigued about how your approach could also be appropriated to do ahead-of-time constexpr metaprogramming as well, which also involves incrementally adding declarations to the translation unit. Cannot seem to get printer driver delivery working from Vista 64 bit systems - Samba 3.0.25b
Version: Samba 3.0.25b OS: CentOS 5 x86_64 I've had printer driver delivery working OK to 32 bit clients for a while. I used cupsaddsmb to set that up originally. We recently added some 64 bit Vista client machines (yay). I created an x64 directory on the print$ share and followed the Samba HowTo instructions for finding and uploading a printer driver. The files are from a Vista 64 bit

Off topic: Tcl/Tk outside R.
I'm trying to learn about the tcltk package and its uses. Floundering around a bit ... Have discovered Peter Dalgaard's articles in R-News, which should help. Also James Wettenhall's suite of examples look like they might be enlightening, even though the indications are that they are Windoze oriented. Be that as it were, I decided to fool around a bit with Tcl/Tk *outside* of R to

Powell's unconstrained derivative-free nonlinear least squares routine, VA05AD
I have used Mike Powell's optimization routine (VA05AD) from the Harwell Subroutine Library (HSL) for more than 20 years. It is no exaggeration to say that it has helped make my career (thanks Mike). I recently learned that I am not alone in this respect - apparently it still has a loyal following in all sorts of fields! It is an exceedingly fine piece of software - fast, reliable and easy to

Re: How do I force Samba to update shared printer list? (2.2.6-pre2)
Try : killall -s HUP /usr/sbin/smbd is causes that smbd rereads its config. Two networks on one interface problem
Hi, I have a shorewall v4.0.7 installation on an older version of fedora. What is the proper way to add another network to the DMZ interface? Is it through virtual networks? If so, how is that done, given I''ve already designed the system around a single network on the DMZ? I have two physical interfaces on the firewall, with eth0 for external (192.168.1.0) and eth1 for the DMZ

(no subject)
Hi All, Bit the bullet last night and switched off UW-IMAP and turned on Dovecot. With any migration I've got some teething problems and hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction. I tested the system using apple's Mail.app which worked fine, no problems at all, but it seems that most of my users are getting problems, i suspect Mail.app is hiding these messages

[cfe-dev] [RFC] Moving (parts of) the Cling REPL in Clang
I like cling, and having it integrated with the rest of the project would be neat. I agree with Hal’s suggestion to explain the design of what remains. [RFC] Moving (parts of) the Cling REPL in Clang
Motivation === Over the last decade we have developed an interactive, interpretative C++ (aka REPL) as part of the high-energy physics (HEP) data analysis project -- ROOT [1-2]. We invested a significant  effort to replace the CINT C++ interpreter with a newly implemented REPL based on llvm -- cling [3]. The cling infrastructure is a core component of the data analysis framework of ROOT and
