Hostbased Authentication Question
Hi,
I am still working on getting hostbased authentication working in
OpenSSH 3.5p1. I emailed the user list, and got no response. It seems so
simple, yet I have continued to have problems getting it working properly.
I've read posts about it on this list, and the openssh-unix-dev list, and
nothing I have tried seems to work. My question is this, does it matter
which key, either

Re-downloading mails after migrate server
I think a good try is update the new server to latest dovecot version.
I migrate about 1.5M mailboxes from dovecot 1.0.X to Dovecot 2.0.X and no
problems (and we have a lot of users with the "leave copy on server" option
checked).

/etc/rc.local and /etc/fstab
Upon system boot, is it ok to mount OCFS2 mounts from /etc/rc.local
rather than /etc/fstab ?
Are there any downsides to using rc.local that you are aware of?
Example /etc/rc.local script:
#!/bin/sh
#
# This script will be executed *after* all the other init scripts.
# You can put your own initialization stuff in here if you don't
# want to do the full Sys V style init stuff.

New git repository
Hi,
When the Subversion mirror of portable OpenSSH fell into disrepair, I
promised to replace it with a git mirror. Well, I finally got around to
it - you can clone git://anongit.mindrot.org/openssh.git and browse at
https://anongit.mindrot.org/openssh.git/
The repository is also mirrored to github at
https://github.com/openssh/openssh-portable
These are very new and it's entirely possible

Re-downloading mails after migrate server
Hi all... again.
I have uploaded the new server to dovecot 2.0.12, and still having the
same issue.
I have even tried changing the hostname, and still the same.
I have checked the site http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Migration at the "POP3
migration" section, and I can't see the problem. The UIDLs between hosts
are still the same, and I am lost at what is making me download the
mails

ssh user equivalence
We are getting some pushback from our SA group regarding root having ssh
user equivalence on the cluster where we run OCFS2.
Is it required to have the ssh user equivalence setup for the root user
when running OCFS2 ?
Thanks in advance,
Reid

Re-downloading mails after migrate server
Hi all,
first of all, I must say that I am pretty new to mailing lists, so
please, if I do something wrong, just tell me.
Now, my problem.
I'm migrating a mail service from a temporal to a definitive server.
Both servers have the same versions (Postfix, Dovecot -1.0.7, POP3 &
IMAP services-, MySQL) and it all works perfectly.
The only problem is with the users that store their mail on

Pasar palabras de una lista a una variable del dataframe
Muchas gracias Carlos,
Me da error al hacerlo. Mi variable donde quiero que localice las palabras

[Proposal][RFC] Cache aware Loop Cost Analysis
Hi,
This is a proposal about implementing an analysis that calculates loop cost
based on cache data. The primary motivation for implementing this is to
write profitability measures for cache related optimizations like
interchange, fusion, fission, pre-fetching and others.
I have implemented a prototypical version at http://reviews.llvm.org/D21124.
The patch basically creates groups of references

help a journalist: What do you wish the CIO understood about fighting spam?
Hi, folks. I'm senior online editor at CIO.com, and I'm working on an
article for which I'd very much like your help.
There's often a lack of communication between techies and top company
management. Maybe they don't want to hear about problems; perhaps you
give them technical details that are far more granular than they want
to know. But dealing with spam is a topic

Best setup for redundant routers.
I am setting up 2 Vyatta routers that will serve as redundant failover
core routers out to the backbone of our ISP. They will be serving for
routing between other branches and the ISP and bandwidth management.
I am trying to differentiate between the plethora of information about
having redundant, automatic failover routers and pretty much decided on
VRRP for the IP address failover mechanism.

What would you tell the CIO in an "ABCs of Email" overview?
One of the key points that came up when I researched and wrote the
"Five Things CIOs Should Know about Fighting Spam" article (http://
www.cio.com/article/28830) was that they should know the basics of
how email works. Otherwise, said plenty of techies, the CIO won't
have the first idea of what the email admin is complaining about.
So I'm going to do my part. I'm

Dotplot (package Hmisc) with groups: colours and symbols
Hello all,
This question concerns the function Dotplot from the Hmisc package.
My aim is to compare values between groups in each panel of the
Dotplot, with the values of different groups clearly distinguishable
by different symbols. All lines and symbols should be coloured in
black.
Before adding the panel function to the Dotplot, the groups behaved as
desired and were marked by different

aparecen en cada observación de mi variable "texto". La variable "texto"

Muchas gracias.
