v2.2.15 - make check - Conditional jump or move depends on uninitialised value
Hello,
I am currently using Dovecot 2.2.10 on Fedora 16 - 64 bit system
I had made v2.2.10 Fedora 16 rpm file using spec file from ATrpms.
http://dl.atrpms.net/all/dovecot.spec
It has been working well from 6 months or so.
Today I tried to make v2.2.15 rpm using same spec file.
But "make check" is giving following error:

Using the mahalanobis( ) function
Hello all,
I am a 2 month newbie to R and am stumped. I have a data set that I've run multivariate stats on using the manova function (I included the data set). Now it comes time for a table of effect sizes with significance. The univariate tests are easy. Where I run into trouble filling in the table of effect sizes is the Mahalanobis D as an effect size. I've included the table so

Comparing GAMMs
Greetings!
I am looking for advice regarding the best way to compare GAMMs. I
know other model outputs return enough information for R's AIC, ANOVA,
etc. commands to function, but this is not the case with GAMM unless one
specifies the gam or lme portion. I know these parts of the gamm contain
items that will facilitate comparisons between gamms. Is it correct to
simply use these values

does anybody know if there is an implementation of the Spearman rank
correlation in R that gives a correct (or at least 'safe') p-value in
the case of ties??
I have browsed the R-help archives but I found nothing.
Thanks a lot in advance for any help,

Puppet & Oracle Database config management
Afternoon all.
I''ve been reading around on Puppet and Oracle, and have come up with a few
links that suggest how to get Oracle installed and base configured, which
has got me started in the right direction on that.
My next challenge is maintaining Oracle database specific configuration on
the relevant hosts. This contains various elements, such as /etc/oratab,

"R is not a validated software package.."
Dear All,
discussing with a statistician of a pharmaceutical company I received
this answer about the statistical package that I have planned to use:
As R is not a validated software package, we would like to ask if it
would rather be possible for you to use SAS, SPSS or another approved
statistical software system.
Could someone suggest me a 'polite' answer?
TIA
