Windows Vista file copying over openvpn
Hi all,
I'm using openvpn to connect to a public server that has Samba v3.0.24
installed on Debian etch. The connection is over the internet (from a
standard ADSL connection to a remote server on a 2Mbit LL).
The problem is copying somewhat 'larger' files from the client to the
server. Copying files of up to 2 megabyte goes well but larger files
fail (4 MB, 6MB, or more). The error

Problem with shared xls file. Could it be blamed on rsync?
Hi all!
I recently had a problem with a shared excel file which was rsynced from the
file- to the backupserver. The backups of this file went wrong and I can't
figure out why. The whole rsync and dump to tapes works like charm for a few
month now.
The situation was as followed. That xls lived (and was backuped) happily for
5 days. Then the users startet to share this file among 4 or 5 people.

Error in SNIA spec wrt. SessionSetupAndX response when dialect is NT LM 0.12
Good evening,
On the bottom of page 53, section 4.1.2.2 in the SNIA spec
(http://www.snia.org/tech_activities/CIFS/CIFS-TR-1p00_FINAL.pdf), it
states if the dialect is NT LM 0.12 and extended security is off (I.e.,
use "traditional" NTLMv2/NTLMv2 authentication w/o SecurityBlobs), the
SessionSetupAndX response is as shown in section 4.1.2.2 with a word

[LLVMdev] Tips for using clang v3.1 on Windows
Here are the results of me playing around with the new EXPERIMENTAL release
v3.1 of clang for Windows using MinGW32:
0. You don't need to go through the nightmare of building clang v3.1
yourself - it is right there on the download page, albeit at the very
bottom.
1. Install MinGW32 in the directory C:\MinGW and nowhere else.
Otherwise you'll get all sorts of errors about missing

[LLVMdev] Instruction Scheduling - migration from v3.1 to v3.2
I am migrating the llvm/clang derived compiler for our processor from the
v3.1 to v3.2 codebase. This has mostly gone well except that instruction
latency scheduling is no longer happening.
The people who implemented this previously sub-classed 'ScheduleDAGInstrs'
and implemented the virtual methods 'computeLatency' and
'computeOperandLatency'. However, these methods

FW: BLF not working after reload
I tried 1.0.1.12, 1.0.1.13 and now 1.0.2.13 on the GXP2000. I doubt it's
the firmware if it is happening on two completely different phones. I read
of a bug in Asterisk that exhibited this exact behaviour that was apparently
fixed in Asterisk 1.2.0 as far as I can tell.

Warning in 'probtrans'-function ('mstate'-package)
Dear all,
in order to estimate transition-specific probabilities in a multi-state
model i applied the 'probtrans()' function from the 'mstate'-package.
Now, i am at loss with the following message (see attached example):

dahdi wcb4xxp and fax
Hi all,
I wanted to switch from my current setup (mISDN) to the native dahdi with
b410p support (wcb4xp). All works fine for normal phone calls but not for
faxing. Faxes are distorted, if arriving at all, and hylafax logs the usual
bad stuff (HDLC frame not byte-oriented.)
Our setup uses a digium b410p card with asterisk 1.6, latest libpri and
dahdi, hylafax with iaxmodem, and all this on 1

but I''m not sure how.
I ran command ''rake freeze_edge'' and got the error:
