Error accessing the share_info.tdb file
Thank you for your responses. Now I encounter another issue when I try to access the "Security" tab. However, since it is not related to my original question, I will create another post. Error accessing the share_info.tdb file
Hello everyone, I'm preparing a migration from a NT4-mode domain controller 3.5 to version 4.19. The migration process is going well, but from the share management MMC, no matter the share defined in the smb.conf, when I try to access the authorization tab, I get the following message in the Samba logs: Apr 25 11:39:58 svdom01.voillot205 rpcd_classic[1827]: [2024/04/25 11:39:58.511922, 0]

vfs_shadow_copy2 woes / WITH logs
Hi, finally everything is working fine on my Samba 4.6 AD Domain member server after _exactly_ following https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Setting_up_a_Share_Using_Windows_ACLs (no more fiddling with acl_xattr:ignore system acls = yes, thanks Rowland Penny). Next thing i wanted to try is vfs_shadow_copy2 (with LVM snapshots:

using AD groups in "username map"
Hi, i'm trying to setup Samba 4.6 on CentOS 7.4 as a Domain Member of a Windows 2012R2 Domain Controller with AD. To administer share security i have to use the "username map" feature. This works when i enumerate individual AD users there. When i want to use AD groups it only works with "primary" groups. This way i can't use the "Domain Admins" group

Two regressions and one improvement
Hello! With the current swfdec (07c006a9785a5043c0a0a4b8d78b28c0735020c4) the youtube player shows "infinit/infinit" instead of time. Pinch-hitter from bug 13627 has a new problem now - the only available team is "Washington" instead of a long list. On the positive side, AOL video doesn't hog the CPU anymore (but doesn't play either), e.g.

help with zoo
Hi, I am interested in decomposing a time series and getting the trend, seasonal and?irregular variations, as one can get with the "stl" command. My time series is fairly regular, but it has some breaks. From the zoo manual, I gather that it should be possible to convert it to a regular time series and then fill the NA entries by interpolation. I am not able to proceed beyond a certain

Excel Trend Function
Hi: I have a dataset and need to interpolate for missing days. In Excel I either average from sampled days from above and below the missing days or use the TREND function to make up for the missing values. I have been reading about na.approx, is this function similar to the TREND function? Which is the best recommendable way to make up for missing data? Here's my dataset: weeks 17,18,26 and 46
