similar to: winbind doc error?

Im having some problems with the samba 3.0.24 in Debian Etch when I try to list the groups, like this: wbinfo -g or net rpc group -U username All the times the output of the command is... "NOTHING". In samba 3.0.14 (Sarge), this works OK. I don't try in a newer version of samba. I test this with the debug on -d 4 with the rpc command and this is the ouput (see attached files).

I get this error message "getpeername failed. Error was Transport endpoint is not connected" in my logs very often. Any ideas how to fix it? Tnxs in advance

Hi, I am testing share parameters, and have the following share definition: ## Section - [shareA] [shareA] path = /tmp/shareA writelist = user1 and do not understand why user1 cannot write files in the share when connected as user1. Unix permissions for the share files are rw for everyone, and the share directory has wide-open permissions. Samba version is 3.0.20b-3.4-SUSE.

Im currently having a very long list of veto files, just to be sure that the people ONLY can write documents and styleshets.
