P-values from survreg (survival package) using a clusterterm
Hi all.
Belove is the example from the cluster-help page wtih the output.
I simply cannot figure out how to relate the estimate and robust Std. Err to
the p-value. I am aware this a marginal model applying the sandwich
estimator using (here I guess) an emperical (unstructered/exchangeable?)
ICC. Shouldent it be, at least to some extend, comparable to the robust

How can I remove these log entries 'Failed to create Users' and 'Failed to create Administrators'
Hi,
I have a very small setup, one XP/clinet and one Vista/client and a Ubuntu/samba server.
I like to cleanup my log.smbd but I can't figure out how!
I have everything up and running and I can access the share's from the XP client.
I googled around and it seems that I should bind some Windows group/user against Unix group/users
with something like 'net groupmap add rid=2512

can't remove groups in AD
Hi,
I set up a samba 3.0.26a as an ads-member of a windows 2003 Small
Business Server.
Every windows user in the domain can read and write their files,
everyone's happy.
My Problem is, that I cannot set up security groups in the AD. When I
try, I do not get an error message, but my changes are being silently
ignored.
I cannot set rights exceeding read, write, execute and owner.
E.g. I cannot

ACL question
Hi all,
I'm reposting because there was no response from the list. I'd be glad if
anybody could comment...
I'm planning a migration from Sun Microsystems' PCNetLink CIFS service to
Samba and have a problem I cannot solve:

Linux and Solaris performance
We have an interesting quandry here. When I'm rsync'ing my directory

Solaris->RH Linux 7.2 - time taken: 206s

Quality difference between opus_demo.exe and opusenc.exe
Hello!
I encoded a voice file (48kHz) with opusbin\opusenc.exe with the
standard settings and decoded it.
The output was amazing. I could not hear any loss at all.
Then i encoded the same file with opus_demo.exe and standard settings
and then decoded it.
The output had a sizzling noise, even when I used full bandwidth.
I think I have played around with any of the settings in opus_demo.exe,

Access Denied when changing ACLs from W2000 client
Hi all
I'm having some problems trying to configure ACLs from a Win2000 SP3
client. I'm running Samba 2.2.5 on kernel 2.4.18 (with acl + ext attr),
Samba is compiled with acl support etc.
Samba is configured with security=domain, and is running with local
groups etc rather than thru winbind, I haven't been game enough to tread
those waters yet.
With the debug level set to 5

return values in groups - price range groups
Hi colleagues,
I have a simple
product database indexed with Xapian. Amazing free tool, thanks you developer(s)!
I need to
have a way to return prices of products in groups, say I have prod prices:

I need to
get it to return something like:
Group 1 =
1.01 ? 1.03
Group 2 =
10.01
etc.
Maybe there
is something build-in Xapian that can do

SVM? Comparison method wanted: 3 Groups, Microarray data
Dear all,
i have microarray data of 3 classes of patients. It's not a time course experiment only steady state.
I used a rule-based method to classify the groups by the expression of the genes. This works out so far. Nevertheless I want to check my results with an other method. Therefore I look for one and want to ask you, what you suggest.
I have 3 different patient groups, only the steady
