[LLVMdev] backend question
Hi All, I am writing a backend for an architecture that has only 16-bit word addressing (No byte addresses ever. All data are always 16-bit). How can I specify this in the backend? As an example, consider the following instruction: %arrayidx = getelementptr [129 x i16]* @flags, i16 0, i16 %i.043 When I generate assembler code, this now results in %i.043 being multiplied by 2 in the address

Winbindd on a pdc??
Hello, I'm learning Samba with the aid of the excellent "Samba by example". I've used Samba for years in my home network, but only to share home directories and few extra shares with tdbsam with manually entered passwords. Having worked myself through domain control, member servers and the working of pam, nsswitch and LDAP (and posix accounts in LDAP!) I reached the point (in

can't join domain / smbldap-useradd -w machine not working
Hello, I'm trying to set up Samba + OpenLDAP as a PDC. I followed the instructions from chapter 6 in Samba-3 by Example, my system is SuSE 9.1. ldap, winbind, nmb and smb are running. testparm says my smb.conf file is OK. I set LDAP password using smbpasswd -w. There was a similar post a few days ago (smbldap-tools don't create machine account properly), but it didn't help me.

Unable to mount partition
Hi, I use btrfs for my /home drive. It''s a separate drive with just a single partition. I upgraded to ubuntu 13.10 (beta) a few weeks ago, without any real trouble. But I did have too many issues (not with the drive or btrfs, though) so I decided to do a fresh install. The new install failed a few times, so I made another startup usb drive with another program and that one worked fine.

smbldap-useradd -w problem
I'm in the process of learning Samba and evaluating it as a possible replacement for Windows NT servers in our office next year. I have set up a small test network comprised of one NT 4 (SP6a) Workstation, one Windows 2000 Pro (SP3) and one Fedora Core 3 running samba 3.0.11 as a PDC. I'm using LDAP as the passdb backend with smbldap-tools 0.8.7-1. The Windows 2000 Pro machine can join the
