Tried upgrading a couple of working samba-3.0.22 boxes that are currently members of our ads domain to samba-3.0.23a. Before the upgrade: $ kinit foo@BAR.com $ net ads testjoin $ net ads join works fine. After the upgrade $ net ads testjoin $ net ads join both hang. Hi John, The same smb and winbind configuration ( same SUSE box ) works good other Windows AD servers. "#wbinfo -u" and "#wbinfo -g" returns the users and groups respectively. This really smells to me like a kerberos configuration issue due to the computer existing in one and users authenticating from the forrest root. Unfortunately I don't know where to begin to look for answers as the kerberos configurations I've found referenced
