My environment is FreeBSD 5.4 , Samba 3.0.12 and the users are =

It seems no "groupmap" command on freebsd,

Thanks!

Could you try giving domain users rwx control of profile folder this way:
setfacl -m g:users:rwx

samba roaming profiles not working
I've been at this for hours now and am still not getting it to work.
I've been through the lists trying to find an answer and so far as I can
tell, everything is configured OK. Obviously it's not, but I'm stuck.
I recently installed Squeeze on my home server, overwriting a Lenny
installation. I've been able to add my NT (Windows XP/Pro) domain
accounts back in and pdbedit

Problem with secondary sata controller
I am having problems getting my 64-bit Debian Squeeze (Xen version 4.0, Linux Kernel 2.6.32) dom0 to recognize a harddrive connected to a secondary sata controller. My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-X79-UP4 and has two sata controllers. The first is controlled by an Intel X79 chipset and the second is controlled by a Marvell 88SE9172 chip. During the initial install of Debian everything is fine and

XP Pro password change problem
I've set up NT domains from scratch and things work. However, in this
case I vampired the old settings over to my new Samba PDC from a W2K
server which I then removed from the network. Everything almost works,
except ...
The main thing is that I can't seem to change the domain passwords from
the XP Pro workstations. Normally you do Ctrl-Alt-Del and select change
password, then fill

VGA passthrough to HVM Linux domU
I am having problems getting my 64-bit Debian Squeeze (Xen version 4.0, Linux Kernel 2.6.32) dom0 to pass a Gigabyte HD 5450 graphics card to an HVM 64-bit Arch Linux domU. I have two Gigabyte HD 5450 graphics cards connected to my Gigabyte GA-X79-UP4 motherboard. I can pass the secondary card (the one the bios doesn’t show up on) to an HVM 32-bit Windows XP domU (I thought that would be the hard

changing passwords from Windows XP Pro workstations
Back to square 1! I stripped out my unsuccessful attempts to get Samba
working with LDAP on my Debian Sarge server and am back with a tdbsam
backend. I actually tried to purge as much of the old Samba & LDAP as I
could then reinstalled fresh. This included removing the Windows groups
and users and even the old tdbsam data.
Unfortunately, I'm back where I started - users can't

Domain logins not working
I'm trying to set up a new server to replace my previous domain
controller/file&print server on my home network. My old server was
running Debian/Etch on a 32bit sempron system with two HDs. The new one
is running an old 64bit single-core processor and 3 HDs configured into
multiple RAID 1 and 5 arrays (/boot as RAID 1 and /, /home, swap and a
/backup directory as RAID 5). The new server

Hi,
I have been looking at this thread a while now.
First I think what Rowland and myself misunderstood is that you are not using a DC as a Fileserver ( in the beginning I thought you did. That you have a sysvol share on a domain member confused me) so I think so e of the comments from Rowland do not apply here.
Second, if I reread the thread and look at the description of your problem I think

Constraint Optimization with constrOptim
Hi,
I am having trouble using constrOptim. My target is to do a portfolio optimization and there some constraints have to be fulfilled.
1) The weight of each share of the portfolio has to be greater than 0
2) The sum of these weights has to be 1
I am able to fulfill either the first or the second constraint but not both.
One simple way would be to fulfill the first constraint by using optim as

[LLVMdev] [RFC] Add second "failure" AtomicOrdering to cmpxchg instruction
Hi all,
The C++11 (& C11) compare_exchange functions with explicit memory
order allow you to specify two sets of semantics, one for when the
exchange actually happens and one for when it fails. Unfortunately, at
the moment the LLVM IR "cmpxchg" instruction only has one ordering,
which means we get sub-optimal codegen.
This probably affects all architectures which use

Rebuild of kernel 2.6.9-67.0.20.EL failure
Hello list.
I'm trying to rebuild the 2.6.9.67.0.20.EL kernel, but it fails even without
modifications.
How did I try it?
Created a (non-root) build environment (not a mock )
Installed the kernel.scr.rpm and did a
rpmbuild -ba --target=`uname -m` kernel-2.6.spec 2> prep-err.log | tee
prep-out.log
The build failed at the end:

NFS Quotas and Samba 2.0.7
Hello everyone!
I am currently running Samba 2.0.7 on a RedHat Linux 6.1 box. My user home
directories on this box are NFS mounted from another server. Quotas have
been enabled on this server and rpc.rquotad is running.
On Linux, I can see the user's quotas via a quota -v <username> :-

W2K Domain Login Problem with 2.2.0
Hello!
I was using samba-2.2.0-alpha3 (and just about earlier versions as well)
and had no problems with getting W2K users to login to my domain using
their username/password.
However, after upgrading to samba-2.2.0, when W2K users tried to login
using their username/password, W2K pops up a small dialog box in the
middle of the screen that says - Your account has been disabled, please
