Sorry if this has been around many times before, but I've done quite a bit of reading and searching for some type of human readable guide for setting up the lm_sensors for hardware monitoring. I've dorked around with the stuff in the system here, but after looking at the /etc/sensors.conf, I don't think I want to delve into that and try to pull out the right group of settings.

CentOS Community, What commands can I use to check the disk health of the system when LVM2 is being used on top of a RAID 10 using a HARDWARE 3ware raid card. The OS sees a hardware raid usually as one big drive. Is there a way to check the disks individually to see if any are failing, or throwing hard or scsi transport errors?

Hello, when I store a file biger than 2GB to a samba server version 2.2.5 everythink works fine. But when I do that with a server version 2.2.6 or 2.2.7 the saving fails on the 2GB limit. We recently bought a 32-bit Xeon system with a 12-port 3Ware RAID card and a dozen 500GB drives. We wanted to create 4TB drive arrays; however, we soon discovered that there is about a 2.2TB drive array size limit on 32-bit hardware. Does that sound correct?
