Since we don't use the domain in our HQ anymore and one of the branches will be moved to our new domain (2003/2008) I'm thinking about decomissioning the PDC and promote both BDCs as PDC for their branch offices and networks. Hello folks, The documentation for running Samba as a BDC clearly states that it is not operational with a Windows PDC [1], but this documentation covers Samba-3 and it was suggested in IRC by scooby2 that this functionality is now suported in Samba 4.
