Hello I have usrmgr.exe (form NT server ver.5.1) to manage user accounts of samba.(one year ago) I set logon hours from 8:00 to 16:00. My server (Fedora 7) changed the time correctly from winter to sumer (+ 1 hour). I chenged hardware time clock -w (write system clock to hardware clock synchro). More information on my problem below. It seems that users that were only meant to kicked off at 21:00 were kicked off at 19:00. I've checked the time and timezone on the Linux server and all seems correct. I think I've messed up something somewhere to do with Samba and time and Logon Hours restrictions. Hi all! I'm going mad about getting my shares mapped to my win2k and winXP machines from my Samba PDC Version 3.0.2 on Debian. Win-machines doesn't seem to execute logon.bat at all, except when i log on as root. I've set the ownership and chmod 0775 all logon.bat files to eatch user on my network.
