Hi all Follow up to this post, as it didn't seem to go through the first time. We have a common problem occurring with our Samba setups. We run 3 (identical) processing environments that each contain a Samba host sharing approx .5TB of data to 6 Wintel machines. Normally these hosts operate fine, though we intermittently experience a Samba panic (intermittent = every 2-3 days) as per below.

Unable to load roaming profiles samba-4.3 FreeBSD
I am seeing these in smb.log and each time I do it appears that the user in question is unable to retrieve their roaming profile. Does anyone know what is going on and more importantly, how to cure it? . . . Hi Volker We run 3 x SLES9 SP3 and the same problem occurs in all three environments, the backtraces for panic'd smbd processes of all three hosts are essentially the same as what I posted before. Corrupted Files - Samba 4.4.x

smbd/oplock.c:oplock_timeout_handler(375) after samba upgrade
I recently upgraded from samba 3.0.10-1.fc3 to 3.0.21b-2 running on FC5. Today was the first day of a typing class which uses the network version of Mavis Beacon Typing which depends on file sharing. Undefined references during compiling
I'm attempting to compile the latest samba on an old Mandrake 8.1 system. (Current samba there is 2.2.? and doesn't allow login from XP). smb_panic + Backtrace
Hi all After running samba 3.0.0 for a couple of days I get messages like this in my logs which look a bit suspicious :-) to me. Anyone knows what this is all about? The result ist that copy jobs etc. are just signing off. Sorry for not entering this in the bugzilla thing. I am not too familiar using it. Samba 3.4.5 on ubuntu 8.04 64 bit - Core dumps

Samba 4.3. - Problem with roaming profiles
This problem has several elements but it did not evidence itself until we moved from a MicroSoft AD-DC to a Samba AD-DC.
