Apparent xapian.org website misconfiguration?
Hi All, Not sure if you already know this: I was just in the process of showing someone xapian, when I found that the website is not functioning correctly. EPT Misconfiguration
I am using libvirt 1.2.20. I noticed that when running some VMs (CentOS ) with 2G ram, 2CPUs each for some reason they go from 'state=running' to 'state=paused'; and they can't be restarted. They are un-usable. When this happens I get the following in dmesg output: [ 46.595265] EPT: Misconfiguration. [ 46.595271] EPT: GPA: 0xfee000b0 [ 46.595275]

Strange HFSC behavior - bug? my misconfiguration/lack of knowledge?
Hi I''m moving to hfcs (mostly succesfuly:) ), but I''ve encountered a strange problem: When I download something from this server using wget (one thread) via an idle uplink, I get no more than 130 kbit/s, and when I''m using prozilla (or start more wgets), I get about 200 kbit, but still it''s not all the link can do (240) - the rest remamins unused. Is this

security bug or misconfiguration ?
Dear list, We are experiencing users unexpectedly accessing each others files. It happens when they try to access files that are called the same and which is located in an equal file structure under their login drive. Two other conditions need to be fulfilled: one of the users needs to have the file locked and both users needs to be logged into the same Citrix server(windows-2000). For instance

Bug or misconfiguration related to ACLs?
Hello, I looked at my log file this morning and I see a lot of stuff about ACLs that I don't understand and this notice: INTERNAL ERROR: Signal 11 in pid 23985 (3.0.9-1.3E.3) I suspect that it was caused when a user tried to change permissions on the contents of a directory or delete it (I'm trying to find that out now). The directory seemingly no longer exists, so the user may have

Authentication by certificats (a bug or my misconfiguration)
Today I've been trying to get dovecot (1.0 rc2) to use certificates for client side authentication. If my memory serves right, beta8 had no problems with it (although it was some time ago and on different machine). Similar setup works perfectly well for postfix (for authentication that is, on the same machine). Originally I thought I overdid some certificate settings (keyUsage, nsCertType,

font problem: seems to be misconfigured
Hello, I found fonts are really weird when running firefox 1.1 alpha : all text is printed in italics and special characters are displayed as greek characters; spaces are missing; you can see a screenshot at http://home.planet.nl/~huize784/wine-firefox.png what should I do? I'm thinking something with fonts is misconfigured, but I wouldn't know what I'm seeing this with and without

[Q] vhost: returning misconfigured buffers
Hi, Many vhost drivers follow a common process to obtain and verify received buffers: head = vhost_get_vq_desc(vq, vq->iov, ARRAY_SIZE(vq->iov), &out, &in,...); if (head < 0) { return ret; } if (head == vq->num) { /* no buffer */ return 0; /* or -EAGAIN or whatever */ } if (out != EXPECTED_OUT_BUFFERS || in != EXPECTED_IN_BUFFERS) { return -EINVAL; } /* all good, use
