Folks,
As a small means of community service, I've decided to provide
an unofficial patched version of 3.0.24 (tagged as 3.0.24-gc-1)
to address the CVE-2007-2444, CVE-2007-2446, and CVE-2007-2447
security advisories.

I have compiled OpenSSH-3.6.1p2 on SCO 3.2v4.2 and
the following problem occurs:
I am unable to login as root using when strictmode is set to yes.

Problem : Openssh3.6.1p2 on UnixWare 7.1.1 allows access to passwordless
account without a valid key when sshd_config has PasswordAuthentication no
+ PermitEmptyPasswords yes
Attempts:
Installed maintence pack3 and recompiled both OpenSSH and OpenSSL (0.9.7b)
with native c compiler.
Recompiled both OpenSSH and OpenSSL (0.9.7b) with gcc (2.95.2).
Still the same problem.

SCO 3.2v4.2 and OpenSSH -current --> connection hangs and does no t close

I have a problem with OpenSSH -current and SCO 3.2v4.2,
when I execute a remote command or exit from a session,
the connection hangs, ( line 326 of serverloop.c).
This problem only exists when using ssh2.

to deal with the break in "force group" caused by the
CVE-2007-2444 patch and backported the Vista related bug
fixes from the Samba patches page.

Does samba support ipv6 ?

Am fairly new to samba and using samba-3.0.22. Is there any option for

I recently discovered a problem with OpenSSH 3.6.1p2 and UnixWare 7.1.1
(as well as OpenServer 5.0.X and SCO 3.2v4.2)
When I set up sshd_config as follows:
PasswordAuthentication no
PermitEmptyPasswords yes
and try to connect to a password less account ( I know its a F*up, but
that's the application ID10Ts .... ) I can get in using the SSH2 version

ZFS with SAN Disks and mutipathing
Hi,
I just deploy the ZFS on an SAN attach disk array and it''s working fine.
How do i get dual pathing advantage of the disk ( like DMP in Veritas).
Can someone point to correct doc and setup.

MS-RPC Request Parsing Heap Buffer Overflows (CVE-2007-2446) and Samba
Remote Command Injection Vulnerability (CVE-2007-2447). In reading the

3.0.24 smbclient and printer listing
I'm using 3.0.24 with patches from http://us4.samba.org/samba/patches/.
On my XP client the print services for Unix are installed, I shared the
local printer named 'jet' on the XP client to all users and the
connecting user is an existing user on linux (system and samba user) and XP.
I cannot execute the dir command in smbclient for this printer:
