Hi, we are using samba 2.0.7. on our HP file-server. For the NT users everything is ok, but we are not able to setup WIN95/98 computers to use the shares. All computers are within the same domain. Shares of NT-pc can be used and also shares from other linux boxe, but NOT from the HP. The global section is the same on the linux and HP machines. Any idea ? How can we check what is going wrong ? We have a new server running Red Hat 5.2EL. Windows machines can samba to the linux server with no problems, including symbolic links to the www directory. I had an incredibly hard time finding any documentation on filesystem size limits for samba on 64bit linux with 2.6 kernel exporting to 32bit windows 2003 and windows-xp by googling. The closest I could get to was that cifs filesystem size correlates to ntfs filesystem size and therefore there would be a 64TB limit.
