In-memory databases vs PHP Bindings
I can't quite connect the dots on this, perhaps someone can help. I'm
simply trying to create an in-memory database comprising a single document,
so that I can run a load of queries against it and see if any of them match
the new document (this is to enable users to have 'subscriptions' to saved
searches and be alerted every time a new item is published that matches

Rails theory question, where to put a join query
The is something I wrestle with a bit when I construct joined queries..
Perhaps some experienced insight will straighten this out for me.
Say you have two tables with two models, ''authors'' and ''posts''.
an author has_many posts, a post has_one author.
You need methods to do the following queries:
find_author(postid)
find_posts(authorid)
And you are doing a

I came to this decision after reading my posts. I stated that

WINS across two networks and a router
Hello, everybody. This one''s got me stumped. What I''m trying to do is have
two networks--192.168.1.0 and 192.168.2.0--with SMB and WINS running between
them. So far I can mount SMB shares allright, but I can''t browse by WINS
names across the router. I''ve posted this question on Linuxquestions.org;
you''ll find the details there.

[PATCH 1/7] Revert "ACPI / OSI: Add OEM _OSI string to enable dGPU direct output"
fyi: I decided to go for a different workaround to fix the runpm
issues observed with nvidia gpus with nouveau in the "pci: prevent
putting nvidia GPUs into lower device states on certain intel bridges"
thread
that's on the pci and pm mailing list. Maybe it makes sense to wait
for that to land before actually removing the ACPI workarounds here?
The workaround I had in this series

[PATCH 1/7] Revert "ACPI / OSI: Add OEM _OSI string to enable dGPU direct output"
We have done some tests on three of Intel + nVidia configuration
systems with OEM _OSI strings removed - while some bugs are still
observed, ex. one out of three has suspend/resume issues, no system
crashes were observed - the biggest issue that worries us.
The positive results give us confident to ack the removal of the OEM
_OSI strings. While our tests were not able to cover all possible I+N

Easier OggDrop version
Hi.
I think that the vorbis team should use this version of OggDrop RC3 as the
official OggDrop RC3, because the menu interface is easier to use (& you can
see what kind of mode you have chosen).

oem x100p undefined symbol ast_get_txt
I am putting together my first *. I had it running with two other pc's
running xlite and setup voicemail and a couple of menus and submenus and had
that running well. I had order a couple of oem x100p cards from
digitnetworks.
I installed them as they said with their voicepet2.2.zip drivers and did the
modprobe on zaptel and wcfxo and then ran ztcfg -vv and got this:

Re: Can't install IE6
Hi Daniel,
Thanks for your reply, I don't necessarily want "Outlook Express". I want an email client that can manage folders within hotmail, and will synchronise with the server so I can access the same mail from another machine (i.e. work) via the web.
If there is another free mail client that provides that functionality for hotmail, I will gladly use it.
I agree that there are

[PATCH 1/7] v2v: check next free oem%d.inf in /Windows/Inf
It seems that checking for oem%d.inf in the DeviceIds registry entry
doesn't always list all oemXX.inf files. For example we may have
oem1.inf free in the registry key, but used in another one.
Also extract this into a separate function for later use to setup
another driver.
