similar to: Samba shares on Linux machine get disconnected after ~ 1 min

Hi, I have Samba 3.0.13 running on Suse 9.2 on an i586. I can browse and connect to the Samba shares on Windows XP and Mac OSX. However, about 1 min after connecting, the shares are lost and gone from the network environment - same for Windows XP and Mac OSX. The Windows shares mounted on the Linux machine work fine. Hi, I tried to sync two files (50 MB and 100 MB) with my webdav folder using rsync 3.0.5 with Mac OS X (10.4.11) Terminal and X11. With the Terminal application the sync always failed with both files. With X11 I once was successful synchronizing the 50 MB file. I've got to networks connected through leased line, routing set between networks, WINS server running on Samba. There's one primary samba server, and Win98/WinXP clients connected to it.
