Samba PDC + XP: still not solved?

I'm using samba 2.2.3a-12.3 for Debian and I seem to have set everything I can: changed the signsecurechannel, sealsecurechannel in the registry to 0 (and back to 1), Changed the policies for autoenrollent and the password encryption (put that off in samba and in windows and then back on again) But ALWAYS do I get

win2k connecting to sbm Linux server
Hi gang, I recently set up a smb server on rh7.2 to be able to share files with my 2k boxes. I am able to see the Linux smb server via network neighborhood on the win2k boxes but cannot connect. I get a path not found error. Can anyone give me a few pointers where the problem may be and how to fix? Thanks in advance for all replies. tt

Local account login failed when samba join to LDAP
Dears, My samba version is 3.6.4 I have a problem to co-work with open LDAP server. When samba join to open LDAP server, my local account can NOT login samba anymore, only LDAP account can login. When my samba come back to standalone, the local account is OK. Did I miss something? The following is my configuration files, I list the part of them, smb.conf server string = "Samba Server"

Failed to find sambaDomain object to get sambaAlgorithmicRidBase
Hello group, When I try to add sambaSAMAccount object class to a user with smbldap-usermod, I have the following error: smbldap-usermod -a bernard.fay Failed to find sambaDomain object to get sambaAlgorithmicRidBase at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/smbldap_tools.pm line 1235. SAMBA 3.0.4 + LDAP + usrmgr
I've upgrade to Samba 3.0.4 a System wich it's running SLES 8. The System is working with LDAP and smbldap-tools 0.8.4 for managing users and groups. I'd like to manage the user and group with usrmgr.exe running into a Windows 2000. When I tried adding new user the programs didn't work and it's reported an error. Problems with the IdealX scripts

Backup Domain not working
I recently set up a backup domain controller using Samba 3.0.23. I have a Samba PDC already running, and all is working fine, but once I added the BDC, now when people log in to their windows account, their home directory is now being mapped to their home on the BDC (which is empty) instead of the PDC. Transfer winbind idmap to LDAP
Hi all This seems simple, but I can't figure how tho acheive it. I have: - NT4-PDC - Fileserver (Solaris 9), Samba 3.0.2 member server with winbind I want to migrate my NT4-PDC to Samba PDC with ldapsam.
