Crossrealm Kerberos problems
I am running dovecot 2.1.7 on Debian Squeeze 64 bit, config information
at the end of the email.
I am working on a Kerberos/GSSAPI based setup that requires cross-realm
authentication. I have regular GSSAPI working, I can log in using
pam_krb5 with password based logins or with the GSSAPI support when
using a kerberos ticket in the default realm.
However when I attempt to authenticate using

Principal component analysis with EQUAMAX rotation
Hello,
I need to do a principal component analysis with EQUAMAX-rotation.
Unfortunately the function principal() I use normally for PCA does not offer
this rotation specification. I could find out that this might be possible
somehow with the package GPArotation but until now I could not figure out
how to use this in the principal component analysis.
Maybe someone can give an example on how to do

indexes permissions problem
Hey all, I did a search but didn't find the answer to my problem, so
here goes.
I've got a centos 6 server running Dovecot 2.0.beta6 (3156315704ef).
For legacy reasons (I'm moving mail from a Dovecot 1.1.1 and FreeBSD box
with user home directories NFS mounted), my index files are setup to be
in /u/indexes/
On the Dovecot 1.1.1 installation, the perms on the indexes directory is

Stats help with calculating between and within subject variance and confidence intervals
Hello.
I'm trying to find a way in R to calculate between and within subject
variances and confidence intervals for some analytical method
development data.
I've found a reference to a method in Burdick, R. K. & Graybill, F. A.
1992, Confidence Intervals on variance components, CRC Press. This
example is for Balanced Data confidence interval calculation from Pg
62. The data are

idmap & migration to rfc2307
Thanks buhorojo. The sssd list came up trumps here. When changing ID
mappings, the sssd database must be manually removed (rm
/var/lib/sss/db/*). I now have sssd working again :)
I shall keep an eye on the mappings during the day today..

Samba4 how to get a reverse dlz zone
Hi
I have s4 with bind9 working fine. I see that it sets up a forward zone
without using zone files (is that the dlz bit?)
Is it possible to get it to produce a reverse zone?
Thanks,

Hi buhorojo,

kerberos nfs4's principals and root access
You are right !
But it's possible to create a root kerberos principal like here :
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19253-01/816-4557/fgohx/
But I can't get this work with a samba kerberos realm....

rsync-2.6.9pre2: undeclared variable in source code
A build of rsync-2.6.9pre2 on DEC Alpha OSF/1 4.0 failed because of
an undeclared variable at lib/inet_ntop.c:84:
memcpy(dst, tmp, len + 1);
len is not declared; the code looks like the third argument should
instead be the value
strlen(tmp) + 1
I made that change, restarted the build and validation, and got
this report:

That's a start, but the reality is that it isn't enough. There will
be many sites that don't upgrade O/S versions except at possibly very
