Tyan s4985 motherboard and lm_sensors
Trying to get cpu temps from lm_sensors for a Tyan s4985 motherboard, just installed centos 5.4. Tyan release some lm_sensors conf files and other information which I have done, but I am not getting any cpu temps. I was wondering if anyone out there was running this board and if you have gotten temps working for your cpu, here is my output...Thanks in advance. w83627hf-isa-0c00 Adapter: ISA

lm_sensors
Hi all :) Using lm_sensors, I can see few temperature indicator. M/B Temp: +39?C (low = +15?C, high = +40?C) sensor = thermistor CPU Temp: +33?C (low = +15?C, high = +45?C) sensor = thermistor Temp3: +53?C (low = +15?C, high = +45?C) sensor = diode What is that Temp3? It's the hottest. Which one is the best to use if I want to use lm_sensor as a general

SATA on Gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro2 MB
Hi Gang! I've got this (now old) Gigabyte motherboard (GA-7N400 Pro2), I've had it for just over 3 years. I use it, so far, with only PATA devices. I'm toying with the idea of buying a matched pair of SATA drives and when I install Centos 5 (hopefully soon), building it with software raid (using the two drives as mirrors of each other). Now, I wouldn't have ever even thought of

looking for motherboard / temp / hdd monitor, other than lmsensors
Hi all What other good temp / motherboard / fan speed / HDD / etc monitor can I use on CentOS 5.1 (or even 5.2 - still need to upgrade)? I know lmsensors works ok'ish, but it doesn't pickup my Gigabyte motherboard properly. -- Kind Regards Rudi Ahlers CEO, SoftDux Web: http://www.SoftDux.com Check out my technical blog, http://blog.softdux.com for Linux or other technical stuff,

lmsensors support in net-snmp
Hello, I'm wanting to use cacti* to graph my motherboard fan/temperature/voltage readings. I have sensors working and it giving me the temperatures ets, but it seems that net-snmp needs to be compiled with sensors/lmsensors support. Is there a centos 5 rpm for net-snmp that support this? Thanks. *http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t=11590

[PATCH][RFC] OpenUPS driver
Hi all, I attached a driver for MiniBox openUPS device ( http://www.mini-box.com/OpenUPS) and a dump of the hid usages. I had the possibility to make a few adjustments to the device firmware for HID usages, and although I haven't managed to produce a good structure many issues from previous firmware were at least fixed and new information added. ATM the driver only shows pertaining

Using Akima with nearly-gridded data
I am using the Akima interpolation package to generate an interpolated color contour plot. It is working very well, except for one problem. The data that I have represents real-time readings from a thermistor string vs. time, so the data points are often very nearly in a rectangular array, since the thermistors are read at regular time intervals and they are equally spaced physically.

Fax server (TxFax) fails during transmission
I'm having an intermittent problem with fax transmissions, something I call the streaking mascara syndrome. TxFax will be part way through a transmission when something fails--on the fax printer, part of the page will have correctly printed, but the rest of the page is "streaked" to the bottom. I have several successful multi-page transmissions interspersed with streaked

GeForce 8800GT fan control
I have a GeForce 8800GT that I am trying to lower the fan speed on. I can change the fan RPM from high to not-as-high but I want more control over it. It is too loud and it was quieter with the blob. Maybe the temps are too high to make it quieter. # echo 1 >/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:02.0/0000:01:00.0/i2c-6/6-002e/pwm1_enable # sensors fam15h_power-pci-00c4 Adapter: PCI adapter power1:

CPU temperature in an PowerEdge 860, LM85 chip
Dear Srs, I'm trying to monitor CPU temperatures in a PowerEdge 860 server, running CentOS 5.1 with 2.6.18-53.1.6.el5 kernel, using lm-sensors v2.10.0. Running "sensors-detect" I get: ====================================================================== (..) We can start with probing for (PCI) I2C or SMBus adapters. libvirtd using 11GB
Hi All, Am new to this list, and have asked in #ovirt / ovirt-users list and they pointed me to here ... I've seen libvirtd using ~11 GB of resident memory after the host has been running for about 60+ days with about 40 VMs running on it. The versions I'm currently running are : libvirt.x86_64 0.9.10-21.el6_3.7 libvirt-client.x86_64 0.9.10-21.el6_3.7

Not enough storage space error
Now, its getting more detailed for the samba devs and more out of my scope.   But a small last question from me. Are you moving OU's with users and are there GPO's liked to these OU's? If yes, detach the GPO link and try moving without GPO's attached.   Still errors? Are these users logged in or not? If still logged in, try an OU without users logged in.     I also did read

Aggregate Table Data into Cell Frequencies
R-help - I have this set of aggregated tables (sample data below via dput()). And I would like to have delayValue as the column variables with the "temp" (temp1, temp2, temp3) values as the row variables. However I would like to have the temp variables *aggregated into single rows* so that I have the frequency ("Freq" | counts) of each time each "delayValue" occurs
