[Bridge] Bridging Firewall with Kernel 2.6 failed
Hi all,
I have a bridging firewall running fine with kernel 2.4.31 (Slackware
10.1) and iptables 1.2.11
Yesterday I install the new kernel 2.6.14.3 and iptables 1.3.4 but the
bridging firewall doesn't work anymore.
Do I need to patch the kernel 2.6 as what I did it for kernel 2.4? Or
what I have missed?

CUPS error with 3.0.11
I recently upgraded from Samba 3.0.2a to Samba 3.0.11. I didn't change
anything in my smb.conf file.
But Now, when a user logs on to my Linux server and access a Samba share, in
the log file for that machine there is always a message repeated twice:
[2005/03/16 05:40:23, 0] printing/print_cups.c:cups_cache_reload(85)

3 simple questions
Hi. I am running 3.0.20.
1. I would like to have an include statement pointing to user
configurations. For a user, say 'mike', the following works:
include = /home/mike/smb.conf
But this does not:
include = /home/%u/smb.conf
I am using a very simple config with 'security = user'. What am I doing
wrong?
I cannot get any log feedback from this ('testparm' says

Samba 3.2.6 upgrade -> smbd panic in printing.
Hello,
upgraded to Samba 3.2.6, and immediately printing went into coma. Observed
that printers lose their configurations (driver models, locations, etc).
And if I reset the printer drivers on each share, eventually they will be
lost again.
Looking at the logs we are getting panics like this:

[2008/12/16 05:12:51, 0] lib/util_tdb.c:tdb_log(682)

Hello,
I've a Samba 3.0.23c-SerNet-Debian PDC (no BDC or anything) connected to
OpenLDAP. I thought it would work smoothly, I didn't discover any
problems until today.
I'am trying to create a ntconfig.pol with poledit, but it doesn't show
me any groups to add to the policy. I can see all the users by the way.
To eleminate a poledit problem I used the security tab (in german
