hi, I testing around with Kolab with LDAP and have some strange problems, with the auto generated packages for Wheezy. On my first test VM, I have 2:2.2.16~rc1-1~auto+4 installed, and everything works as expected. On a new VM I have 2.2.16-1~auto+13_amd64.deb packages and if I include LDAP backend, I get a segmentation fault on /usr/lib/dovecot/auth: root at kolab:/etc/dovecot/conf.d#

Samba-LDAP TLS problems with inofficial Debian OpenLDAP 2.2 packages
Dear Torsten, dear samba list reader Three days ago I switched our domain from a NT 4 domaincontroller to Samba-OpenLDAP, controlled by a Debian Sarge system. I installed the following inofficial Debian OpenLDAP 2.2 packages (I know these are not supported, but TLS with OpenSSL is essential to us...): Package: slapd Version: 2.2.20-1.hrz.1 Package: libldap2.2 Version: 2.2.20-1.hrz.1

winbind + rpc windows
Hi, I've managed to configure winbind to use RPC instead of AD to authenticate users. I was able to do a few auths and from nothing winbind started to crash with the following error message: Any hint on what may be the error? I've already deleted all tdb files and restarted the services, and the server, and don't get it solved. [2009/07/29 14:19:01, 0] winbindd/

occasional dovecot crash, core captured but no symbol table info?
Dovecot is crashing occasionally for me. Today it crashed six times in quick succession, as I fired up a computer (Mac) I hadn't used in a while, and my mail application (Apple Mail) tried to synchronize many large mailboxes. The log entries look like this: Aug 26 10:26:15 computer dovecot: dovecot: child 23223 (imap) killed with signal 6 (core dumped) Aug 26 10:26:30 computer dovecot:
