Use repadmin /showobjmeta would caused samba 4.3.0 fault
I had a AD with 4 Win2003 DC. Now I use a samba4 server as a additional DC.
Samba4 server system version: ubuntu 15.04
Samba version: samba 4.3.0
The replication from win2003 DC to samba4 DC was success. But have
some problem from samba4 DC to win2003 DC. I can run "samba-tool drs
showrepl" without error. But in log.samba it can found many message

Table names
Can I use the table name "adm_users" (mysql)? Will that give the model
name "adm_user"? Or should it be "admusers" and "admuser"?

New LDAP puppet provider using ldapmodify, ldapadd, ldapdelete etc.
Hi all,
I use openldap and it''s newer slapd.d style of housing the configuration
(as opposed to /etc/openldap/slapd.conf ).
As such, to modify the config, the database itself, I''d prefer to use
ldapmodify and ldapadd commands.
I couldn''t find an existing ldap provider to nicely manage database entries
(DNs), so I wrote one.
It essentially does this:

LDAP permissions - ldbedit/ldapmodify?
The story gets deeper, also.. (nothing is ever easy, right? :-))
Using the ldbsearch command above, I could at least view the SIDs that have
access to the OU.
One of them should be a group called "mysecretou Managers"; I can see from
ADUC that my user is indeed still a member of this group (so far, so good).
However, "wbinfo -s S-1-5-21-000000000-1111111111-2222222222-1234"

LDAP permissions - ldbedit/ldapmodify?
Hi,
A while ago I successfully set permissions on a section of my LDAP / AD
tree, using either ADUC or ADSIEDIT (I forget which). These permissions
allowed my own user to access this section of the tree; I removed
permissions for 'Domain Admins' etc. to ensure that others would not be
able to view or change the data - this has worked great for many months.
I have just tried to add a new

file and works on MS-DOS client.
So I've try to connect to the share by smbclient command with these users
and it works fine if I put -W SRVLX03 (they aren't on

Recreate a CMS from PHP
I''ve built a kind of cms in php, and I wonder if someone could give me
some hints on how to do this in RoR. Doesn''t have to be much, just so I
can get an idea of what I should learn and tackle as a new user of both
Ruby and RoR.
The system is built with a core of users and on that different modules.
Users are given access depending on what user group they belong to, and
