Guten Tag Samba-List, after updating my Linux-Server from Debian Etch to Lenny, some of my workstations (W2kSP4) couln't log into the domain. I removed the machines from the domain, changed the name, created a new machine-account, but I still can't add the machine to the domain. Hi Sebastian, why are you using shadow:snapprefix if this is just ?snap?? Does it work using ONLY shadow:format = snap_GMT-%Y.%m.%d-%H.%M.%S ? Hi, I'm trying to access a share called MEMORY_CARD on an HP Photosmart C6180 from a linux system. Smbclient keeps returning some form of access denied. Strangely enough, the finder application on Mac OS X is able to 'mount' it. I get the same error with smbclient under OS X. Windows has no trouble accessing it through explorer as well as through calls to net use with cmd.
