Asterisk not ACKing some 407 Proxy Auth Required requests?
I have a problem that has developed within about the past 3 months with my backup outgoing SIP provider (I am not sure when this problem started since it involves only my backup provider which is used rarely). The problem is that most (not all) outgoing calls fail during the earliest stages of call setup, specifically after the provider sends back a "407 Proxy Auth Required" response.

[Bridge] Re: Bridge Digest, Vol 31, Issue 6
Hello You must add first: vlan (tagged) to eth2 eth2 interface is not tagged by default and not know vlan-s . It is like a cisco if you have 24 ports in cisco by default all ports are in vlan1. if you want to do trunk (with vlans) you myst add (vlans) to this ports (tagged or untagged) So you can compare that all interfaces in linux by default are in one vlan(but not tagged). PESQ results for speex 1.0.3
Hello! Some time back, I added the Speex protocol to my version of VOCAL (www.vovida.org, VOIP tool). Recently, I also added PESQ (automated voice quality testing algorithm) to my tool and have been running some tests on a clean network. The source file is a woman reading some phrases meant to test various aspects of codecs... Speex has a respectable result of 3.67 Some other codecs I've

How about if I sell you a copy of speex. Buy low, sell high seems like a good capitalist plan, and then you could feel good about using Speex! Ben -- Ben Greear

It does significantly better with a different speaker (the male does better than the female), as well. Integrate Speex into VOCAL
Hello! I'm about to try to integrate SPEEX into the VOCAL project. If anyone has any pointers as to the best way to do this, please let me know. After reading the speex api man page, I have a few questions: 1) To encode, it appears I need an array of floats. If I am playing wav files, what is the best way to turn these into something speex can encode? 2) Are there any commercially

Speex-RTP RFC questions
This portion of the RFC is gramatically incorrect and confusing: The RTP payload MUST be padded to provide an integer number of octets as the payload length. These padding bits MUST be all zero. This padding is only required for the last frame in the packet, and only to ensure the packet contents ends on an octet boundary. <p> -- Ben Greear <greearb@candelatech.com>

Adding new nodes to OCFS2?
I looked around, found older post which seems not applicable anymore. I have a cluster of 2 nodes right now, which has 3 OCFS2 file systems. All the file systems were formatted with 4 node slots. I added the two news nodes (by hand, by ocfs2console and o2cb_ctl), so my /etc/ofcfs/cluster.conf looks right: node: ip_port = 7777 ip_address = 192.168.201.1 number = 0
