Authentication problems with Windows clients
I have installed Samba 2.0.4b on AIX 4.3.1 but cannot get it to authenticate Windows clients. The error that I get is 'The password is incorrect'. However when I use smbclient on the AIX box to connect to the shared resource it connects no problem. The only way that I can get a Windows client to connect is by putting the server into share mode and setting the share as guest allowable.

The setup looks something like this: Interface IP

callNextMethod() with builtin group methods fails to create proper environment
Hi all, After all these years, I am finally porting some R-2.3.1-based S4 object code to R-2.6.1, dealing with all the S4 object system changes that came in R-2.4.0. I've run across what appears to be some sort of ommission in the implementation of callNextMethod() when used with primitives having group generic methods. In a stock R-2.6.1 patched (happens to be running on AMD64/RHEL 4, but

database tables
I have been assigned a task of building a front end to a database that has already been created. All the database tables have the naming convention of lclclcClclclc. For example; tblComputerNames. How do i get around this in rails since it likes lower case table names to keep with its naming conventions for classes and objects? Mitch Mitch Raful MCSE, CCNP Network Engineer MCCS Quantico

[LLVMdev] 3.5.1 Testing Phase Begins
It looks like I missed that email completely, I started out replying to Nikola and Hans which is why I was talking about Windows rather than OS X. I've just found your first email in my llvmdev folder and I think I see what happened. My mail rules deliver llvmdev messages to a folder named llvmdev unless I'm directly addressed in which case it delivers to my inbox. It looks like you

Re: fresh xcp 1.6 & xenserver install fails on first boot (kernel not found). [SOLVED]
So I''ve found the issue... But I don''t yet understand the issue. If anyone has any ideas feel free to share. To keep a long story short (cause it took days and I don''t want to bore anyone...) Question about ip_forward in clear_firewall
Firewall users, My apologies as I''m not on this list, so please respond directly as well as to the list. I did try to search the archives and didn''t find any hits, although the search did not like searching for terms with underscores in them (both clear_firewall and ip_forward). I was trying to understand why, when running shorewall stop, even though it echoes IP

[PATCH v4] Btrfs: Check INCOMPAT flags on remount and add helper function
In support of the recently added capability to remount with lzo compression, provide a helper function to check the compression INCOMPAT flags when remounting with lzo compression, and set the flags if necessary. Also, implement the new helper function when defragmenting with explicit lzo compression and when setting the default subvolume. Signed-off-by: Mitch Harder
