[LLVMdev] MachineFunction::get
Hi I have a ModulePass in LLC that runs after most of codegen completes, right before OBJ emission. I want the ModulePass to iterate over all MachineFunctions, emulating them. I used to do this by iterating over all Module Function's, and using MachineFunction::get() to get the MachineFunction associated with said Function. In LLVM 2.6, MachineFunction::get() is gone. What is the new way

[LLVMdev] Building on windows
Hi all I cant find a clear answer to this anywhere in the release notes or the mailing list. Sorry, if it is mentioned somewhere and I have missed it. Can someone clarify as to if for LLVM 2.6, cmake is optional. http://llvm.org/docs/GettingStartedVS.html The page says - "This step is currently optional as LLVM does still come with a normal Visual Studio solution file, but it is not

WINS setup / browsing
I just successfully upgraded a server from v 2.2.8 to v3.0.7. When I execute smbstatus or swat it correctly shows v 3.0.7. When I browse thru network neighborhood it still shows v 2.2.8. I stopped samba, and removed /usr/local/samba/var/locks/browse.dat & wins.dat. Then restarted samba. It still reports v2.2.8 thru network neighborhood. In viewing browse.dat it shows 2.2.8. Where is this

No mapping on second fileserver
Hi, We recently switched our NT4 Domain to AD. We have 2 AD serves using sernet packages on debian buster with bind9 dns backend, isc-dhcpd updated by the dyndns script. Files are served by a AD member server (AKA fileserver) on debian buster, too. It's using the original debian samba packages. However, I am still far away from calling myself familiar with samba 4 AD :(. Nevertheless, I

name mangling makes 8.3 unreadable unlike Windows fileserver
Hi, I'm cross-posting here from serverfault.com in case anyone can help. I just found a similar question on askubuntu.com also without an answer. Switched recently from W2K3 to Samba4.0.9/CentOS6.4 for our fileshare for WinXP clients. Have an ancient (1995!) piece of software that uses 8.3 filename format. After the switch, long filenames became useless in the context of the

Samba Domain authentication and shares
Hello, I have been able to use Samba to join our Win2003 domain. I have also setup folders and permissions in the smb.conf file. I can browser to the Samba Shares 2 ways, thru network neighborhood and by UNC/ip address. Both of these methods prompt me for login which is not successful. I assumed that if I userA had permissions to a folder in the smb.conf file that Windows userA would e able to

Replacing Windows account with local account.
OK, I'm stumped. I have a Samba server (v3.0.20a) with security=DOMAIN and using winbind to authenticate non-local users against a W2K domain controller. This setup happily serves out home directories and about six other shares. I need to add a local UNIX account for a formerly Windows only user. When I try useradd I get: user <username> exists. This makes sense becasue of winbind.

GPLPV, clock drift and PVUSB in Windows XP HVM
1. Shouldn''t the GPLPV drivers take care of the (bad) clock drift I''m experiencing in my Windows XP HVM? Or is there some other way around this problem that I haven''t been able to find on Google? How can I tell if the GPLPV drivers are active? I''ve added the /gplpv switch to the boot.ini file and the virtual NIC is definitely using the GPLPV version but other

smbd and winbindd refuse to start, but nmbd runs fine on Redhat 9.0
Hi, I downloaded the binaries for samba yesterday for redhat 9.0, and installed them without error. Managed to get swat up and running and configured samba, the same way I configured my other linux (slackware 10.2) box, and started samba thru swat. But when the status page reloads, it shows smbd and winbindd as not running, although it shows nmbd running. When i check the ps list, it shows

latest kernel
Today I updated several servers running CentOS 4.3, and got the new 2.6.9-42 kernel. One of the machines serves as our firewall. After rebooting I lost all forwarding thru the machine. I reverted back to the 2.6.9-34 kernel and connectivity returned. During the few minutes that the new kernel was running I checked that the routing table looked OK, and with tcpdump I saw that indeed no traffic

Comedian Mail User Setup Prompts
I have a user who goes into Comedian Mail for the first time and goes thru the initial setup, changes password, records name, etc. Problem is that every time he calls in, it thinks that it's his first time and keeps reprompting him. His password change is reflected in voicemail.conf. Others do not have this problem. Where does Asterisk maintain the "first time" flag? Any ideas

Moving fileserver
I'm having a problem here I'm not sure how to solve, so I hope someone else have done the same (and succeeded :) I have an old smb server ('tux') which is ancient (both in software and hardware) and can't handle the load. This machine is running version 2.2.3a-14.1 (Debian GNU/Linux woody) with 'character set = ISO8859-1'. The new smb server ('bella') runs
