* Linux/Samba
I was chosen as part of the Linux/Samba team and I'd like to

converting save/dump output into physical memory image
A lot of people in the security community, myself included, are

fit with memory forensics because it allows one to get access to a
guest's memory without having to introduce any extra software into the
guest or otherwise interfere with it. Incident responders are
particularly interested in getting memory dumps from

HVM vLAPIC timer interrupts intermittently disappearing
Hello,
I''m trying to port one of our existing appliances (running on 64-bit Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.4) to a Xen HVM guest . We''re seeing some very odd behaviour that doesn''t manifest on other platforms.
The guest experiences intermittent lockups of a few seconds- shell sessions become unresponsive, and various software healthchecking in our application triggers,

Donated Servers
The CentOS Project needs donated servers in the following regions:
1. South America
2. Africa
3. Asia
4. Asia Pacific / Oceania
We have several US servers (23) and some servers in the EU (5). Only 1
in South America and one in Asia/Pacific and none in Asia/Africa.
If there are hosting providers who are using CentOS in the 4 regions
above, we could really, really use a donated servers in those

Coloring Continents/Regions of World Map
Dear All,
This may be a silly question, but I have tried searching through a few of
the existing threads already, and haven't found any information on this.
I am trying to color code entire continents/regions (Asia, North America,
Africa, etc.) based on the number of relevant companies. The data would
look like:
World Location Companies
North America 4848
Western Europe 1972
East Asia

Root Password
Dear Samba Help,
I have forgotten my root password to my SAMBA system, is there a way I can
login to the system without root password, and then change the root password
after login ?
Will appreciate your assistance.
Best Regards
