[PATCH 4/4] Staging: hv: Add a user-space daemon to support key/value pair (KVP)
All guest specific data gathering is implemented in a user-mode daemon. The kernel component of KVP passes the "key" to this daemon and the daemon is responsible for passing back the corresponding value. This daemon communicates with the kernel component via a netlink channel. Signed-off-by: K. Y. Srinivasan <ksrinivasan at novell.com> --- drivers/staging/hv/tools/hv_kvp_daemon.c

Compiling mod_webauth on CentOS 5 - krb dependency failure
Hello all, When I try to compile the mod_webauth module on CentOS 5, the dependencies for Kerberos fail. I have the Kerberos libs installed, which is what I assume it's complaining about. Ideas? Is there an RPM missing? Here's some of what I found: [root at localhost webauth-3.5.4]# ./configure checking for gcc... gcc checking for C compiler default output file name... a.out

samba, ldap and sco.. help please?
The subject pretty much sums it up. SCO, Samba and LDAP.. only, we're not using LDAP. I got dropped into the middle of this project with little information about much of anything and I'm not a native to SCO and I'm unfamiliar with Samba, however I will be as informative as possible. # uname -a SCO_SV smbpsrv1 3.2 5.0.6 i386 # /usr/local/samba/bin/smbd -V Version 2.0.7 The admin of

Problem building Samba 3.3 on Solaris 10
Hi, I attempted to build v3.3 using Sun Studio 12, but it failed right out of the gate. It looks like it can't find the standard libraries, but according to the make output, it's looking in the right places. Would someone please clue me in as to what I'm missing? Thanks. -John Using FLAGS = -I/opt/heimdal/include -I/usr/sfw/include/openssl -g -xs -xtarget=ultraT1

replace -Wextra with -W
The attached small configury patch replaces -Wextra with -W in the main CFLAGS and CXXFLAGS assignments. A few lines after them, -Wextra is conditionally added already with XIPH_ADD_CFLAGS([-Wextra]), so this allows build using older compilers. Wextra in configury
flac configury does a XIPH_ADD_CFLAGS([-Wextra]) around line 426, however it unconditionally adds -Wextra some lines before that too. The attached patch removes that unconditional addition of -Wextra which (i) removes duplicate addition, and (ii) allows older gcc versions to compile the tree peacefully. Please consider applying. -- O.S. -------------- next part -------------- diff --git

array code issue ?
Hi, I just took a look into the dovecot 2.1 sources and just saw a possible issue in array.h. This code snippet as an example: #static inline void * #array_get_modifiable_i(struct array *array, unsigned int *count_r) #{ # *count_r = array->buffer->used / array->element_size; # return buffer_get_modifiable_data(array->buffer, NULL); #} array->buffer->used and
