Compile Problem (krb5)
I'm trying to build samba 3 with the ads support and along with that I
apparently need ldap and krb5. I have installed openldap, krb5 (had to
install even though Solaris 9 has krb5 in it, the .h file wasn't there that
I could find). Now when building samba I'm getting this error

3.0.8 build failure OS X 10.3.6
I am trying to build 3.0.8 Release on OS X Server 10.3.6 as the latest
version of samba installed with the 10.3.6 update (3.0.5) has broken
our backup strategy which has a Windows server backing up SAMBA/SMB
volumes ( this issue is noted in Dantz Retrospect KB and the solution
is to upgrade to SAMBA 3.0.6+). We use the OS X server as a PDC.
After a ./configure; make

I am having a hard time installing samba 3.0.4 on MAC OS X 10.3.x "Panther".
I was able to run the configure command w/out any errors. Here is what I am
getting when I run the make command.

Darwin Install
I am a Mac OS X.2 user and I'm not completely familiar with Darwin Unix
but I have come upon a need to install Samba 3.0.4 on a PPC G4. I Have
an install manual that came with Apple Developers package and I
followed the directions. The manual told me to run this command:
./configure --with-syslog --prefix=/etc/samba \
--bindir=/usr/bin --sbindir=/usr/sbin --libdir=/etc/samba

Unable to compile Samba 3.0.0 on Max OS X 10.2
Gentle Reader,
I am unable to build Samba 3.0.0 from source on Max OS X 10.2 using
Apple's version of the gcc compiler.
I downloaded the source tarball, unpacked it and did:
% ./configure
% make
The make compiles many files OK but aborts during compilation of
clikrb5.c
Has anyone successfully built Samba 3.0.0 on OS X 10.2 and if so,
what am I doing wrong?

Unable to upgrade ZFS pool to feature flags, SPA version 5000, on stable/9 @ r243825
Hi,
I installed FreeBSD/amd64 9.1-RELEASE yesterday.
I chose to do a manual installation due to the use of ZFS.
I checked out stable/9 and recompiled both world and GENERIC kernel.
Said kernel and world was installed without any problems.
System is still up & running, with uname -a revealing r243825.
I then decided to upgrade the root pool to feature flags, SPA version
5000, and was not so

Breakpointer fixed in OSX 10.4.5
The new build of OSX 10.4.5 seems to fix the issues many have been
reporting with the breakpointer script. This fix at least seems to
work on the Intel macs. Haven''t checked it on the PPC macs yet, but I
haven''t had the ''getaddrinfo'' errors on the PPC macs.

WEBrick and OS X 10.4.5 problems?
Has anyone who is running OS X 10.4.5 and the security patches
thereafter noticed that WEBrick is no longer functioning? I have a
machine at school that I believe to be patched with 10.4.5 but not
with the latest security patch and WEBrick seems to run fine for it.
However, on my machine at home I can''t get WEBrick to successfully
run even freshly generated apps.
