PRI D-channel bouncing
I need some help getting a system running for one of my company's plants. I am running AsteriskNow 1.7 with Asterisk 1.6.2.10 and FreePBX 2.8.0.2. My D-Channel keeps bouncing. The telecom tech told me he thought that I might be using the wrong sync source, and I think I might have been, but I changed DAHDI system.conf to "span=1,1,0,ESF,B8ZS" (from

Building Samba 4 - Includes.c missing?
Hello all, I've been peacefully using Samba 3 for about 3 years now, and it has done a wonderful job in my little world as domain member servers for file and print serving. Much bettetrver farms that some of my peers in the company are using. So I want to try Samba 4 and see if I can play with making it my PDC. The only problem is that when I go to make, I receive the following error: ...

GARCH:: False Convergence
Dear R users, I am trying to use tseries' garch function in order to determine the volatility of a return series generated by quantmod. Here is the code that I am using: > library(quantmod) > getSymbols("AAPL") convert daily closing prices into continuous log returns > dret<-dailyReturn(AAPL,type='log') check to see that the autocorrelations decay >

[LLVMdev] llvm autoconf using LLVM_SRC_ROOT?
Hi I am trying to create a new LLVM project that uses autoconf to configure it. the example requires me to define * LLVM_SRC_ROOT - The root of the LLVM source tree. * LLVM_OBJ_ROOT - The root of the LLVM object tree Is this required? Why? I just want to use the libraries that were installed using Ubuntu 10.04. I can compile programs using llvmc $ llvmc --version Low Level

Compiling 3.4.0pre1 via makerpms.sh
Hi, I have a number of issues compiling samba 3.4.0pre1 using makerpms.sh, under the RHEL folder in packaging. 1) samba.spec refers to 'source' when the folder has been renamed to 'source3' (easy enough to amend) which made it fail very early on. 2) Following that - (apologies in advance, if I have gone over the top in pasting output), it seems to be complaining about missing

Installing shared Windoze executables on a Samba share (fwd)
Hi, I've got a Samba server here that runs great! I've got an NT machine on my laptop and I can interface with the Samba server directly in any way I want, except for one thing: When I try to install a program (Visio) as a network shared app, the installation always tells me "I've determined that the target drive doesn't support long file names" after I choose to

[LLVMdev] OT: intel darwin losing primary target status
I thought of another work around. The FSF gcc driver can implicitly add -no_compact_unwind to the link line. This tells the linker to not produce compact unwind information from the dwarf unwind info in .o files. Then at runtime the darwin unwinder will fallback and use the slow dwarf unwind info. -Nick On Sep 18, 2009, at 2:27 PM, Nick Kledzik wrote: > I dug into this. Based on

[LLVMdev] speeding up compilation and link time
Does anyone have any ideas or tips on how to shorten the time to build? I am building a new tool (in the llvm/projects directory) and it takes minutes to fully build the project, possibly because it uses lots of templates and boost & stl libraries and I am using a slow machine. Specifically, I am looking for ways to change the Makefile and use precompiled headers and incremental linking, but

[LLVMdev] Extracting type information from header files
Hello Vitaly, Clang supports LLVM Bitcode formatted precompiled headers if that is what you are looking for. LLVM-GCC might be a different story though. Also note that these headers will be different from one operating system to the next. If you're looking for something portable, test out my wrapper at http://sourceforge.net/projects/llvmlibc/ in the SVN repo. --Sam ----- Original

[LLVMdev] Extracting type information from header files
Hi, I would like to generate an LLVM bitcode file that contains all the types and functions declared in a header file. For example, the following code should make the llvm compiler put all type information contained in stdio.h in the resulting bitcode file. #include <stdio.h> int main() { return 0; } Unfortunately, when compiled with "llvm-gcc -g -emit-llvm -c test.c", the

Samba 3.0.21 and WinXPSP2 problems
Hi all, I have a OpenBSD box running samba 3.0.21, it's configured to offer one publicly available share. The problem is that when i connect from WinXPSP2 box and start browsing the share client hangs for ~5 mins without any success when tries to access any file. Browsing folders is ok and everything is 100% working for smbclient. Here's my smb.conf: [global] workgroup

Anyone else seeing disk full errors?
I'm seeing random disk full errors when saving large Excel files to a Samba share. The users will retry and the second or third time (usually the second time) it will save correctly. This is with version 3.0.21a on i386 Red Hat 9, kernel 2.4.20-31 patched with ACL. -- Michael St. Laurent Hartwell Corporation "This is the captain speaking. We may experience some turbulence... and

Samba Errors with 3.0.21b on AIX -- please help
I have been trying for 3 weeks to get 3.0.21b to work on AIX 5.2. I am currently running 3.0.4, which has no problems. I am getting very frustrated, and am about to give up entirely on Samba. Here are some of the errors I am getting: [<root> mcom4:/opt/Samba/3.0.21b/bin] > ./smbclient -L ccasemcom4 -d 3 -N -Ub06reg%Becky1208 lp_load: refreshing parameters Initialising global

Samba 3.0.21b is not able to connect to password server
On our AIX 5.2 system we have Samba 3.0.4 and 3.0.21b. The smb.conf files are identical for both versions. The 3.0.4 version runs fine, but with 3.0.21b, we get errors like the following when trying to run smbclient: [2006/02/28 22:03:05, 0] rpc_client/cli_pipe.c:cli_rpc_pipe_open_schannel(2641) cli_rpc_pipe_open_schannel: failed to get schannel session key from server FD0 00XSFED01 for
