I'm just migrating a whole samba-installations ffrom old 2.2 to 3.0 with LDAP. I was successfully able to migrate all useraccounts with smbldap-useradd but now I'm stuck with the machine-accounts. I just receive a copy of the official samba 3 howto, to be honest i'm rather disapoint with the content and layout. Well with free online version, i can't complaint, but with 'paid' version maybe i can complain to the author :-).
