Hi Samba users, First I can't open/create local group with usrmgr. Second creating global group and user is working, [third] but adding users to this [global] group failed.. It's exactly the same. Except that I use tdbsam instead of ldap and the error message therefore also is different in the log file. But the example and result is the same. passdb appears a lot of times in smba logs, even if it uses LDAP as a backend, as in my config. Maybe the log message should be changed in the code for something easier to debug... But this error message you said, only appears if you try to add or delete the user twice from LDAP, so you should remove "-a" from the add user script and comment out the user delete script if you intend to
