Is there any way to do this with Samba and LDAP? What I'd like is to be able to, at a minimum, force minimum password length, mixture of letters and numbers, and at least two 'special characters'... Hi, I am setting up a fileserver in an AD domain, using Samba 3.0.21b under Solaris 9. An Openldap server (version 2.3.17) is used fot the idmap backend. I loaded the NT4 Domain Manager tools and tried to use UserMgr to add some users. The add users sections of the menu are grayed out and I cannot do the deed. I've tried a variety of things.
