Vegan problem
Hi All, I am trying to perform CCA and RDA several times to compare their performances. To do that I put this two functions of vegan package inside a for loop. Unfortunatly when I am trying to perform the anova(by=axis) to test the individual axes the function don't recognize the species data.frame. The same problem occurs whem I try to run forward selection. The same problem occur when I try

Hi Kelvin, The audio bandpass setting is only configurable when the encoder is instantiated (eg: start of a Voip call ) , but you can change the bitrate anytime. For example if you can read incoming RTCP packets , you can check if there's reported packet loss , and then lower the bitrate accordingly.Yes, the app has to be aware of the packetloss ?percentage. Cheers,Dragos From: Kelvin

Samba 4 - disabling SSLv3 to mitigate POODLE effects
Arg... that's a problem now.. we are not allowed to complie third party software in our dev enviroment, we are only allowed to use packages (that's why we use sernet-samba, which in fairness is great!). any plan to release a proper patch? ___________________________________________________________________________________________ Mario Pio Russo, System Admin SWG IT Services Dublin,

Thanks Dragos, I assume I will be setting those parameters during initialization of encoder right? Question is, if connection gets too lossy, how will opus adapt to it? Can it automatically shift bitrate down to minimize impact? Mark from IRC suggests that the app has to be aware of the losses and change it on the fly. Has anybody on the list tried this? [PATCH] gr/nv3x: add 0x0597 kelvin 3d class support
Tested on a NV34. There are reports of this also working on the other nv3x chips. Largely useful for testing software written for NV2x without having the actual hardware available. Signed-off-by: Ilia Mirkin <imirkin at alum.mit.edu> --- Not sure whether nv30/nv35 have 0x0097 or 0x0597. Even though their respective class numbers are lower, it's still believable they'd support

BIOENV
Dear all, Does anyone knows why the results of a BIOENV (PRIMER v. 6.1.15) are diferent of the bioenv() + mantel() in vegan? Not the spearman correlation, indeed the pseudo-p value. I know that the approach bioenv() + mantel() is biased. So, how the BIOENV (PRIMER) ends with larger p values (permutated). Acctualy how the permutation test in BIOENV (PRIMER) is conducted. Hi Kelvin, You can use something like :opus_encoder_ctl(enc,OPUS_SET_BITRATE(bitrate));opus_encoder_ctl(enc,OPUS_SET_MAX_BANDWIDTH(bandpass)); bandpass is the audio bandpass?, eg: OPUS_BANDWIDTH_WIDEBAND . You will need to calculate the codec bitrate from the available network bitrate (by taking into account the size of the IP+UDP+RTP headers which is 40 bytes ) . By default the audio bandwidth

R cairo_pdf function does not respect plotting boundaries
Hi Paul, Great, thank you for looking in to this, and I'm glad that you're able to reproduce it at your end too. From your reply, I'm happy that it seems like the fix may be fairly trivial, but I understand the necessity for caution. If there's anything else I can do to help, please do let me know. Thank you again, Best, Lee On Monday, 4 March 2019, Paul Murrell <paul at

Fractional Polynomials (mfp) for Weibull Model
Dear R-users, I am trying to modify the mfp() function in the mfp package to model Weibull survival using fractional polynomials approach. However, I keep getting into trouble when mfp.fit and other "hidden" functions can't be found. I did find some of them in Splus but it's getting nowhere. I wonder if any of you can give me some tips on how to modify it or any experience

Samba 4 - disabling SSLv3 to mitigate POODLE effects
Thanks Kelvin I'm a bit confised tho, is this patch already avaiable? if yes, what is the parameter that disable ssl into the smb.conf? Maybe the guys from Enterprise samba have already included the patch into their releases so it's just a maatter of enabling the flag. I'm using sernet-samba-4.2.2 Thanks!
