I'm having some odd problems with USRMGR and Samba group accounts. USRMGR seems to work fine for user accounts, and it also correctly displays the list of group objects (these are all stored in LDAP btw). Curious what folks think the best choice of filesystem is, specifically when used for Samba and regular Unix users (SMB+NFS access). I'm using Reiser now but its slow and doesn't work good XP attributes. I've also used XFS (a couple of years ago) and liked it but had some troubles with cross-platform Unix and the extended ACLs. I have never had to deal with subnets before as we only have a few users, but decided to do a little bit of messing around to gain some experience.
