fix for scriptaculous dragdrop.js empty list problem
Hi Thomas,
Here''s a fix for the problem that I raised this morning, turned out to be fairly
simple in the end (after many false starts and thrashing about - thank goodness
for Venkman!)
First, in Sortable.create(), I register the parent element (the UL tag or
whatever), and add an extra property to it to mark it as the parent of the list

quick dragdrop question
Hi,
I want to do some custom logic on items being dragged and dropped - I need an
event callback that has a reference to both the element being dropped (the LI),
and the target element that it''s being dropped onto (the UL). I''ve found the
Sortables.create option for creating an onUpdate and onChange handler, and done
the following:
function selectItem(target){

Good evening everyone:
I am struggling with a problem here.
I have a brand new FC3 server set up. My Windows domain is a windows 2003 active directory domain.
I have samba configured as below

printing = cups
idmap gid = 15000-20000

examples of drag n drop
Sorry if this sounds cynical, ( i do love script.aculo.us scripts ) ,
but I am wondering if people know of some good real world
examples of uses of drag n drop and sortable lists.
such a cute script will likely be *ab*used as much as it is used.
obviously the point here is to use script.aculo.us to improve
the user interface rather than just have some k00l eFX.
e.g. the drag n drop instantly

Moving mails from shared folder to shared folder doesn't work
Hi,
having the attached configuration with Dovecot 2.2.9, Dovecot's crashing
when moving a mail from a shared folder into another shared folder.
Moving that mail into a "real" folder of the user or moving that mail
from a real folder into the shared folder is always working. But moving
from a shared folder into a shared folder doesn't work.

Packet capture to analysis the tinc connection close
Hi, All
Recently, one of my tinc client always suffer connection drop, I was suspect the connection was not stable to cause this issue, and BTW, I’ve set the PingTimeout to 10 seconds already, but this situation still happens a lot sometimes, but when the connection drop happens, the connection recovery pretty fast, normally in a minutes.
In order to deep dive into the cause, or proven the

samba 3.0.23: %p not working?
RedHat AS 4, 2.6.9-22.0.2.ELsmp
samba3-3.0.24-30 (RPMs from http://enterprisesamba.com/)
Dear list members
Several times a day we have interrupts up to 30 seconds. This is
quite annoying. We have learnt from the mailing list that others had
the same problem. This might be because we have the users home
directory automounted by nfs first and than shared by samba. As
almost everybody has

Setting up a simple NAT on CentOS 3.5
Well I think this system is back on 3.5. How do I tell? Have not
used it in a while...
I need a NAT for some quick testing and this box was available. Only
a 6gb drive, so I can't install Astaro (which I have licenses for).
So is there a simple way to turn on NATing? Should I upgrade to 4.2?
This box is behind a firewall, so security risks are not the issue. This time.

Can't setup shares on domain member server samba4
I have a new CentOS 7 installation which I joined to my domain using 'realm
join mydomain.com'. That worked great. I can get a ticket with 'kinit
administrator at mydomain.com'.
But my samba shares don't work. In fact, when I browse (from windows 7
domain member) to the host (lserver), it just times out. Similarly, when I
try from another Linux server:

[PATCH v2 7/7] Sample Implementation of Intel MIC User Space Daemon.
From: Caz Yokoyama <Caz.Yokoyama at intel.com>
This patch introduces a sample user space daemon which
implements the virtio device backends on the host. The daemon
creates/removes/configures virtio device backends by communicating with
the Intel MIC Host Driver. The virtio devices currently supported are
virtio net, virtio console and virtio block. Virtio net supports TSO/GSO.
The daemon

2.0, hourly performance stats
I'm getting constantly high numbers of page reclaims & involuntary
context switches for dovecot/auth.
page reclaims = minor faults = cpu switching back to system-mode, But
why is the auth process doing that so excessively? Same for the large
number of involuntary context switches...
Attached is my "dovecot -n" output.

core show translation - difference in Asterisk Versions
Hello All,
I was wondering if somebody could elaborate the change in
translation of codecs specifically the amount of time increased in Asterisk

*gsm **15000 **15000 *
*ulaw 9150 15000*

*Asterisk 1.6.x*

Asterisk and Linphone
Hi all - I am using asterisk 13.27.0 with Linphone.
I turned off all codes on linphone except the one I want to try. For
example:
opus and speex (so only one enabled at a time).
Then did this same on asterisk for the linphone extension.
disallow=all
allow=speex
(for example).
Then I place my call and the call fails. if I enable something like gsm,
ulaw, alaw the call works fine. Why does the

Problems with group memberships in AD
I have a Samba box joined to a Windows 2003 AD. I have noticed a
strange problem with adding users to groups. I added user 'shw' to
the group 'project1' on the AD. When the user logs in the the Samba
box, he does not have the permissions of someone in the 'project1'
group. When I run 'id shw', group 'project1' shows up. However when
I run 'id'

recursively divide a value to get a sequence
Hi,
if given the value of, say, 15000, I would like to be able to divide
that value recursively by, say, 5, and to get a vector of a determined
length, say 9, the last value being (set to) zero- i.e. like this:
15000 3000 600 120 24 4.8 0.96 0.192 0
These are in fact concentration values from an experiment. For my
script, I get only the starting value (here 15000), and the factor by

queue / agent documentation
We're moving a somewhat complicated call center over to an Asterisk system,
and I'm looking for documentation on queue/agent configuration. So far I
haven't found anything on the Digium or Asterisk websites, and I was hoping
that someone could point me in the right direction.
Thanks,
