Dovecot User Listing Error - getpwent() failed: Invalid Argument
Hi Aki,
How did you go with this in the end? Do you need anything more from me
or were you able to reproduce this?
Thanks,
Reuben

Dovecot User Listing Error - getpwent() failed: Invalid Argument
glibc-2.28.
There was a posting by Michael Marley on 31/08 saying he saw something
similar to this problem after upgrading to 2.28 as well with 'doveadm
purge'.

?Reuben, could you try this:
service auth-worker {
? executable = /usr/bin/strace -o /tmp/out /usr/libexec/dovecot/auth -w
}
and send the out file to me? I wasn't able to reproduce your problem
with glibc-2.28.

Repeat Review Request
Folks,
I like criticism! Please give me lots of it - particularly in respect of the
updated "Samba-Guide". It should now be up on the Samba mirror sites.
You can download it from:
http://www.samba.org/samba/docs/Samba-Guide.pdf
I have incorporated all feedback into this book. Did I get it right this time
or should I give up?
So far, not a word of feedback is deafening!

No. Neither of those are installed on either system.

3.0.4: smbd's + nscd's = 100% CPU; load > 4
Hi Everyone,
the new 3.0.4 Samba installation seems to work find
except that from time to time but at least a couple
of times a day one or more smbd processes start
running at 20%-40% CPU each and 6 nscd processes
then share the remaining CPU power. System 70%-80%
users the rest 20%-30%. Load rises fast to over 4.
I'm sure that each such process is just idling,
but why does it engage so much

Text with differents colors in a plot / Detecting if text exists
Hi everybody,
I want to write some text in a plot.
That's simple I know. But I want to make use of different colors.
Eg. text(x,y,paste("Sunderland","high")).
Then Sunderland should be black and "high" red.
Has anyone an idea?
By the way. I'm looking for a function or something similar, that can check whether there is text in some regions on the plot.

Dovecot User Listing Error - getpwent() failed: Invalid Argument
I think this might be caused by glibc 2.28. I saw a similar error with
the "doveadm purge" command after upgrading my system to that version.

[Resolved] Found a way of allowing pam_ldap users (with pam_groupdn or pam_check_host_attr restrictions), AND allowing local root authentication, without pam_unix.so taking presense due to getpwent() returns ldap-users
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Hi,
I've been trying to get LDAP ssh authentication to work for a while, and
I found a bug (http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=bin/116150) in
pam_unix.so, that breaks support for ldap-group/host-restrictions the
ldap-way.
I saw numerous emails about pam_groupdn-ldap-restrictions on the
mailinglists dating back to 2001, but no resolution

Trust between SAMBA and NT server
Hello,
I'm having problems getting the SAMBA domain to trust an NT domain. The following is how I went about the exercise:
1. On the NT domain, I added the SAMBA domain A/C in the TRUSTING DOMAINS list, providing a certain password.
2. On the SAMBA domain, I executed the following command feeding the same password given in step 1, but without
success:
[root@cobra root]# net rpc trustdom

Dovecot User Listing Error - getpwent() failed: Invalid Argument
This is bit of a longshot, but can you try applying
https://github.com/dovecot/core/commit/63a74b9.patch and see if this helps?

I have no idea why it's returning invalid argument, maybe you need to
raise this as issue with glibc?
