Hey list, Recently I've gotten my Samba PDC to successfully use an OpenLDAP backend, while using the smbk5pwd and ppolicy overlays for OpenLDAP. I have a setup with lot's of small files (Maildir), in 4 different volumes and for some reason the volumes are full when they reach 60% usage (as reported by df ). Hi, Have a few samba servers in a small network. The only way any windows client can see shares is to use \\servername From the samba pdc, running smbclient -L pdc-server -N shows list of servers. So its not an issue of the samba server being able to resolve other member servers. Opening Network only shows the local computer (itself). I have searched around and find any fix for this.

I can see the samba shares from win via net view \\servername but if I issue a plain "net view" samba won?t show up. only the win machines, the same i can see on the Neighborhood...
