Missing fonts for tightvnc
You would think installing via yum would handle dependencies, but
perhaps fonts are not managed like dependencies.....
Anyway, I installed tightvnc to test out its IPv6 support.
Installed ok (after I erased regular vnc). But when I tried to start
it, I got 5 warnings about:
Font directory '/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc' not found - ignoring

Compiling & running 1.4 on 64bit
I need someone's expertise.
I have compiled wine 1.4-1 in a Xubuntu 12.04 beta, running on virtual machine (obviously a 32bit system, since it's VM).
Steps i took:
Code:
1. installed development packages by running http://winezeug.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/install-wine-deps.sh (as instructed on http://wiki.winehq.org/Wine64)
2. apt-get build-dep wine
3. apt-get install patch libpulse-dev

Setting scales for ggplot2 with facets
Faceting in ggplot2 seems to permit different scales for different
facets, but I fail
to see how one could control ylim and xlim ranges for each facet
separately.
For instance, I would like to set the ylim = c(0,10) for facet "A"
and ylim = c(42,102) for facet "B". Since the data is out of these
ranges,
setting facet_grid(factor ~ ., scales = "free_y") does not

Problem with S4 generic function print
First, if I have an S4 class boo should I define S3 method for
printing print.boo(..) or should I define S4 method print(..).
I mainly need to define print function only because some user might
call it and then I would like to dispatch the call to
right function instead.
Second, it seems that by defining S4 generic function print, it is
possible to break argument hinting on the status bar.

R package for scorecard development
Hello all,
Is there any R package that can develop a scorecard model for a binary
target variable?
More details:
I want to create a scorecard based on the raw data I have.
I have a binary target variable and a few numeric and character input
variables.
I want to bin the variables and assign a score to each of the bins.
Each subject will be scored based on the bin it falls in for each

Handing connection depending on the client computer public key fingerprint
Hello,
I try to find a way to handle SSH connections differently depending if it comes from a 'trusted" computer or from an unknown computer (for instance giving access to a shell versus allowing only scp/sftp in a chrooted environment).
Using the IP address is not a solution since a trusted computer can be a laptop that is connected somewhere on Internet.
One solution could be to use

dovecot ignoring config file contents -- istream.c problem?
Hello!
This is my first time trying to run dovecot so maybe I've overlooked
something, but I'm having a hard time running dovecot.
First of all, it's worth noting that I'm trying to run dovecot on an
embedded platform: the target architecture is mipsel; I have patches
for the 2.4.18 kernel with special support for the board so I'm still
using the 2.4.18 kernel. My C library

DRS stopped working after upgrade from debian Jessie to Stretch
Hello Samba team !
I'am in a very delicate situation. After an upgrade to debian Stretch
my DRS stopped working.
I have three DCs (fichdc, fichds01, fichds02), all Debian Stretch, all
with the same problem. Everything seems to be fine except DRS.
-> File shares works
-> DNS (with bind9 DLZ) works
-> "kinit administrator" works
-> "kinit -k FICHDC$" works

Workaround for bind9 reload bug : samba_dlz Ignoring duplicate zone
Hi samba team !
I'm face with a new problem on a new Samba PDC install (Debian 9).
I don't know why, but systemd run multiples "rndc reconfig" commands
during the init script. So the bind9 log file show :
-> A successful start
-> A failed reconfig (samba_dlz Ignoring duplicate zone)
at each boot/reboot.
So I need to restart bind9 each time manually. I created a wrapper

DRS stopped working after upgrade from debian Jessie to Stretch
Hai Baptiste,
What you can try;
Type:
ktutil (enter)
rkt /etc/krb5.keytab
rkt /var/lib/samba/private/krb5.keytab
list
Now check if you see,
host/server.internal.domain.tld at REALM
host/server at REALM
(same (both) for nfs/.. at REALM)
And
NETBIOSNAME$@REALM
If you see all, you can write this back to a new file.
wkt /etc/krb5.keytab.new1
And if needed you can also cleanup the keytab

Xen 3.2 and Big Real Mode support?
Hello,
I read in the announce of Xen 3.2.0 released that it has "preliminary
support for a wider range of bootloaders in fully virtualised (HVM)
guests, using full emulation of x86 ''real mode''" .
I''d like to know what is the level of the emulation of x86 ''real
mode''? I ask that because I tried to install OpenSuse 10.3 (I used
