Fix sharing ACL
Gentlemen,
I am struggling to solve this problem.
My file server Samba 4.4.5.
Even the administrator user (domain admin) could not write to the share.
Could someone give me a hint, in order to solve this problem?

Problem with Excel Files and Acls
Hi,
I've allready seen a lot of posts about problems with Excel 2000, but I
couldn't find one exactly matching my case.
I'm using a self (and maybe badly) compiled samba 3.0.20 on debian, using
ACLs. We're using ADS and winbind (some older NT4 domains remain)
The users can't open some excel files, spitting a message such as 'the file is

Lock order violation and file lost
I will probably file a bug about this, but perhaps someone here will
have some ideas.
We have a problem with files being deleted instead of being saved when
making changes in Microsoft Excel. The log shows an error of:
'Lock order violation'. This is with Samba 4.1.6 and happens on both
Linux (2.6.25-14.fc9.i686) and Solaris 10. No such problem when running
Samba 3.6.22.
We have a setup

Hi,
I have a share (testshare) where different unix groups (testgroup1,

Bug: Loosing Group Permissions in Archive Mode with Sticky Bit and ACL Mask
Hello,
I currently try to copy a directory locally between two ext4 filesystems
while preserving permissions and ACLs using the -aAX options. Under some
conditions, rsync does not copy the posix permissions completely, it
changes the group::rwx to a group::--- permission. The latest rsync
available on Debian Jessie is 3.1.1, but the changelog for 3.1.2 and 3.1.3
did not seem to mention such a bug
