Unified authentication
Greetings. Apologies if this has been asked before. I've gone through Google and the archives to no avail. I am seeking to implement a unified authentication mechanism for a small(Less than 50 users) setup. I've been trying to wrap my head around PAM and SAMBA. It almost seems like it can be done, but I can't quite convince myself. Most of my users are Windows

Unified login solution
Hello everyone, As part of my traineeship, i have been asked to deploy a solution to unify logins between Windows NT (and perhaps 2000 in the near future), Solaris 8 and GNU/Linux stations. Solaris stations are already running with a pam_ldap authentication with a OpenLDAP server. GNU/Linux are to be installed within the next monthes and this should not be a problem with PAM (Linux distrib is a

Dovecot unified event filtering
Hello, I have an issue with debug logging when using a custom plugin for Dovecot. In my plugin, I create a child event of the session's user event: ```c struct event *plugin_event = event_create(list->ns->user->event); event_set_name(plugin_event, "oidc_shared_mailboxes_plugin"); event_set_min_log_level(plugin_event, LOG_TYPE_WARNING);

Unified ferret_start and ferret_stop
I would like to unify the ferret_start and ferret_stop scripts into a single script. My motivation is to make the scripts more like the other rails scripts, and to also make it fit into monitoring schemes better. I realize that some work was done recently to allow the scripts to be run from script/runner, but I think a unified script is a better approach. A unified script would allow more

Asterisk - SIP - TCP and Exchange 2007 Unified Messaging
Hi all, I was wondering what the current development plans / patches etc are to allow Asterisk to talk to Exchange 2007 Unified Messaging with respect to adding SIP over TCP support? I've been googleing and looking through various posts on the wiki and all seem to suggest that it could be happening in later versions but all seem to be dated quite old now and nothing suggesting that its

Unified Messaging On Thin Client / Terminal Server
I would like to get Unified Messaging working in a Thin Client / Terminal Server environment. What I would like to happen: when a user gets a voice-mail, Asterisk sends an email with a Voicemail-URL that notifies the person they have a message. When they click that from their Remote-Desktop / RDP / Thin Client session, that sends a message via HTTP to Asterisk to play the voicemail on

[PATCH] Unified lguest launcher
This is a new version of the unified lguest launcher that applies to the current tree. According to rusty's suggestion, I'm bothering less to be able to load 32 bit kernels on 64-bit machines: changing the launcher for such case would be the easy part! In the absence of further objections, I'll commit it. Signed-off-by: Glauber de Oliveira Costa <gcosta@redhat.com> -- =

help: creating a unified histogram
Good evening, I would like to put the histograms of several matrices on the same graph, together on a unified histogram (instead of having one bar per value on the x-axis, have multiple bars: one representing each matrix, with different colored bars for example to distinguish between the matrices). I couldn't find a function doing that involving "hist", "plot" nor other

Unified logons with winbind and tdbsam backend
I am trying to setup unified logons to my VPN users. My goal is to get rid of chap.secrets file and use winbind to authenticate against tdbsam password backend located in the PDC (Fedora Core 1) running with Samba 3.0.21pre1. I have tried with older Samba versions without success. Using winbind should allow password changes from the Windows XP Pro -client using CTRL+ALT+DEL. Smb.conf,
