Hello, I've been unable to succeed with Samba-Ldap setup on SLES9 until this evening. I thought I had a PAM issue but that was not the case. Might want to include the following command in LDAP config incase LDAP doesn't start. slapd -u ldap -g ldap -d -1 This command pointed out that I hadn't copied my samba.schema to the /etc/openldap/schema directory.
